At the Nebraska Hospice & Palliative Care Conference, AmanaCare had the opportunity to not only connect with amazing professionals—but to share something deeply meaningful.

Our presentation, “The Economics of Supportive Care,” blended both heart and strategy. Heather Schanou shared her personal experience navigating home care and hospice for her mom, bringing a real-life perspective to the importance of collaboration.

Mikah Christensen followed with the “why it works”—breaking down the data behind supportive care through the Length of Stay Multiplier, case studies, and hidden cost drivers that impact outcomes.

💙 Amber – Business Development Specialist, Central Nebraska
Amber has been with AmanaCare for several years, and truly no one loves their job more. You’ll find her on the phone, in a meeting, or chatting with someone about home care or the Medicaid A&D Waiver. She’s also a huge advocate for stroke survivors and their families.
