I've been busy with a new(ish) baby, so I apologize for no new updates or pictures. Sewing will be happening again soon and this page will be active again! Oh, and Modified Style is May 6th this year... you should be there if your local to Portland!

gonna try again... anyone want to be my model for Modified Style? Or do you want ot be a designer? There are two "classes" this time... amateur- never sold anything sewn, and professional- sold something you've made. I'd love to have a friend doing this with me and sharing ideas. I'm in the professional category.... join me... amateur is cheaper to do!

Dear friends, sorry I have not been active here lately. I recently got a full-time job (after almost a year and a half of unemployment) and I am just now starting to be able to balance my sewing life with my working life. New updates to be posted soon!

Yay, we hit 200 "likes"!! Sorry I have not updated in a bit. Been busy with planning birthday parties and a baby shower and all sorts of craziness! I am almost finished with a couple projects and will have new pictures soon!

I need your opinions. I am working on a possible order to make weighted blankets for a daycare and I have no idea how much to charge. They have a washable cover, waterproof lining, and weigh 5-10lbs (depending on what they want). They are about 45in long and 30in wide. Any ideas? Materials alone cost me about $10-$15 a blanket.

I (along with 54 other designers) was given a bag of material and had two months to create a dress using only the material in the bag. There was a fashion show and then the dresses were auctioned off. Proceeds benefited three local non-profit organizations.
