We loved seeing so many bright smiles these past few weeks at our Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway! 🎉 All kids who had their well-child or school physical were able to pick out a new backpack and school supplies. It warms our hearts to support our young patients as they gear up for a new school year.

A big thank you to our CenterPlace Health team for making it so festive and fun! Seeing these kids ready to learn with their new backpacks fills us with joy.

During National Community Health Center Week, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Mandar Jadhav, Deputy Director of Federal Affairs for the National Association of Community Health Centers, and Gianna Van Winkle, Director of Emergency Management Programs for the Florida Association of Community Health Centers, at our Sarasota Adult Clinic.

Their visit was a great opportunity to discuss how CenterPlace Health can strengthen its advocacy for community health centers and ensure we continue to provide quality, affordable health care to everyone in Sarasota County.

Outgoing Chief Medical Officer and pediatrician, Dr. Lisa Gonzalez-Abello, is departing to join the medical staff of the #1 nationally recognized John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
