I’m incredibly excited to be working with Encompass to bring this program to our community. 💚

In 2022, I lost my sister to a drug overdose. That loss changed my life and strengthened my mission to help young people build confidence, resilience, and the courage to make healthier choices.

The L.I.Z.Z. Project is a youth empowerment fitness program designed to help young people:

💪 Build strength
🧠 Build confidence
❤️ Believe in their worth
🚫 Choose healthier paths

High school students will have the opportunity to train at BP Training Strength & Wellness in Southborough — completely FREE.

This program was created to show young people they are stronger than their struggles and capable of building an incredible future.

Most people think self-care means spa days, massages, and bubble baths.

That’s not self-care.

Real self-care is often the stuff people avoid doing.

It looks like:

• Going to bed earlier instead of scrolling
• Drinking water instead of another coffee
• Moving your body even when you don’t feel like it
• Saying no to things that drain you
• Taking 20 minutes to walk outside

Self-care isn’t luxury.

It’s maintenance for your body and brain.

And the truth is…

Most people don’t burn out from working too hard.

They burn out from never recharging.

Here’s the truth backed by evidence 👇

Most people don’t fail because they’re lazy.
They fail because they don’t have structure, feedback, or accountability.

Let’s break it down.



💪 1. Better Results (Faster)

Research published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research found that individuals working with a personal trainer improved strength and body composition significantly more than those training alone.

Why?
✔ Progressive overload is programmed correctly
✔ Form is corrected in real time
✔ Intensity is appropriate (most people under-train solo)

When you train alone, you guess.
When you work with a coach, you progress.



🧠 2. Increased Accountability = Higher Adherence

A study in JAMA Internal Medicine showed that accountability partnerships dramatically improve consistency in health behaviors.

Translation:
When someone expects you to show up, you show up.

Motivation fades.

🔥 What’s Actually Living In Your Gut?

Your digestive system is home to trillions of bacteria — and the food you eat determines whether the good bacteria thrive… or struggle.

One of the biggest things those bacteria need?

Fiber.

Yet most people only consume 10–15 grams per day, when the body really functions best closer to 25–35 grams daily.

Why does that matter?

Fiber helps support:

✔ digestion
✔ gut bacteria
✔ blood sugar balance
✔ heart health
✔ appetite control
✔ hormone balance

And when your gut bacteria are healthy, your entire body benefits.

The problem is that modern diets are full of processed foods that strip fiber away, leaving many people under-fueled in one of the most important nutrients for long-term health.
