2025 was our 76th year serving our island community and a busy one at that! We are grateful for all the support we received from our neighbors, donors, local businesses, and foundations.

Because of you, we made over 4,000 visits to patients in their homes, helping them regain their strength and independence.

We look forward to continuing our important work in 2026!

So grateful for the support of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust & the Hattie A. & Fred C. Lynam Trust for supporting our music therapy program in 2026!

Bar Harbor Wealth Management, a subsidiary of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, has announced that, through the Hattie A. & Fred C. Lynam Trust, $136,000 has been awarded to 38 organizations serving the people of MDI. Grant awards per organization range between $500 and $5,000. Read more at https://t2m.co/Xv1C1Bi.

Because of you, we loaned medical & adaptive equipment to over 160 patients, helping them recover from illness and injury at home.

We look forward to continuing our important work in 2026!

Our office is closed for the remainder of today 12/29 due to heating issues being resolved. Our admin staff is working remotely & our on-call nurse is available.

We will be back open tomorrow as usual! Please stay safe on the roads.
