Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care: Bringing dignity, compassion and hope to those struggling with life-limiting illnesses.

A community based, not-for-profit agency founded in 1988, Mountain Valley Hospice seeks to make hospice care available to all appropriate patients and families in Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery and Saratoga Counties. In providing care to persons with life-limiting illnesses, the goal of hospice is to alleviate symptoms – physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, and social – enabling patients and f

amilies to concentrate on living as comfortably and fully as possible. Patient centered care allows control to remain with the patient and those supporting them. Mountain Valley Hospice provides care that is palliative, holistic and supportive.

🤍Late last week, MVHPC, had the honor of meeting with a local 4H group.
We discussed what hospice is, how MVHPC serves the community, and how young citizens can get involved.

🤍Conversations like these are so vital to the mission of MVHPC. Sharing information in this way, not only engages the community, but helps in spreading the education of how MVHPC plays such an important role at end of life.

🤍Ice cream sundaes always help too!

🤍Do you know someone who crochets, knits, or sews? MVHPC is looking for donations of new lap blankets to include in our Home Care Bags.

🤍We had an amazing supply of them, sending 30 out into the community EACH month as part of our Home Care Bags. Now our cupboards are bare!

🤍Donations can be dropped off to the MVHPC offices, Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

🤍MVHPC is grateful to the Charles R. Wood Foundation for their incredible generosity once again this year!
Their support has allowed us to purchase necessary safety equipment for our patients and staff in the Nancy Dowd Hospice House.
