For Susie, a BAYADA Director of Transitional Care, home care nursing became a meaningful new chapter after more than 30 years as a NICU nurse. When Jessie’s family invited her to help Jessie transition home, she didn’t yet realize how rewarding this shift to home care would be.

With one-to-one care, our nurses are able to build deep, trusting relationships with clients and families in a way that’s hard to experience in a hospital setting.

Our BAYADA Big Island Behavioral Health team was honored to volunteer at the Special Olympics Hawaii Party.

They supported event setup and cleanup, host games, and shared laughter, smiles, and meaningful moments with the incredible Special Olympics athletes.

Thank you to the athletes for welcoming us with such joy and inspiration, and to the Hawaiʻi Island community for fostering such a strong spirit of inclusion, dignity, and support.❤️

BAYADA’s Fostering Acceptance, Inspiring Trust and Harmony (F.A.I.T.H.) Employee Resource Council (ERC) fosters an inclusive workplace where all beliefs are respected and everyone feels welcome.

Recently, the F.A.I.T.H. ERC partnered with Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry in Black Mountain, NC for the annual Deck the Trees fundraiser supporting the Fuel Fund, which helps neighbors stay warm during winter. Embracing the theme Christmas in Music & Song, the team created a Taylor Swift–inspired tree, In My Merry Era, spreading joy while giving back.

We’re grateful to SVCM and our F.A.I.T.H. ERC members for turning compassion into meaningful community impact. ❤️

Kenson was born with a rare heart condition called heterotaxy syndrome, which meant his heart formed on the right side of his chest.

This year, he became a Make-A-Wish America recipient, dreaming of a sunny getaway to Palm Springs, California. Thanks to the BAYADA Behavioral Health team, Kenson and his family had an unforgettable trip filled with laughter, exploration, and simply enjoying being a kid.

We’re honored to support children like Kenson in living life with comfort, joy, and dignity. ❤️

Through our Racial and Ethnic Diversity Employee Resource Council (R.E.D. ERC) Gratitude Project, teams across BAYADA paused to reflect on the moments and relationships that make their offices feel like family. This year, our Ocean County Visits and Ocean County Senior Living offices were recognized for the way they show up for one another—celebrating milestones, supporting through hard days, and making sure every teammate feels seen and appreciated.

Meet Zayva, a bright and resilient child living with a rare genetic condition. With the support of one-on-one skilled nursing care, she is able to stay safe, comfortable, and at home this holiday season, surrounded by the love of her family.

For families like Zayva’s, home means more than a place. It is where traditions are shared, memories are made, and time together matters most, especially during the holidays.

Ongoing nursing shortages and potential cuts to home care nursing funding make it harder for some families to remain together at home. As we gather with our own loved ones this season, it is a reminder of how important it is to continue advocating for home care as an option for families who need it.

At BAYADA, we’re committed to clinical excellence and ethical Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) care. As a proud member of the Council of Autism Service Providers - CASP, we follow national best practices to support children and families.

We also recommend TheSpectrum.org, CASP’s new education hub for parents and caregivers of young children recently diagnosed with autism. It offers research-backed information and helpful tools to guide early care decisions.

(Women in Limitless Leadership), and Global Support Center teams were honored to cosponsor the Christmas at Victory Village holiday giving event in support of the Pettaway Pursuit Foundation, Inc. Together, we collected toys, coats, and meaningful gifts for children, parents, and little ones—spreading joy to families across our community.

Our behavioral health team is dedicated to meeting people where they are—out in the community, sharing resources, support, and hope. Earlier this year, team members from our behavioral health office in Wall, NJ, attended the Ocean County Library’s 8th Annual Autism Resources Fair.

While there, they met a child in need of services whose family had been struggling to find a provider. Our team quickly came together to help connect this family with the care and support they needed through our center. It’s a powerful reminder of how human connection can open doors to life-changing care for those in our communities.
