When it comes to lipedema surgery, the approach matters.

We perform lipedema reduction surgery using local anesthesia (awake) to:
✔️ Reduce risks of general anesthesia
✔️ Improve precision
✔️ Support faster recovery

However, some patients are better suited for general anesthesia in a hospital-based setting based on their health history or surgical needs and we will refer to this for some patients if we find it best for them.

Every treatment plan is individualized—with safety always the priority. 💜
