- From Mother Earth to Father Sky, Punta Sur is an Ancient Mayan Sanctuary at the southern tip of the island. It's a very sacred place, there was even a temple to Ixchel at one time. Walk through the ruins, natural cliffs, and the sculpture garden to honor the history and potentially see the first rays of sunlight in Mexico.

I was working with a client, and it got me thinking that maybe other people would also benefit from this.
The subject: BEDROOMS
What we put in them matter for all kinds of spiritual reasons.
Bedrooms are:
- our sanctuaries
- a place that is 100% our own
- a place where we're present with OUR energy only
- a place that allows us to be at peace and without judgement

Ideally, these rooms contain things that aid us in relaxation, make us feel at ease and put us in an almost meditative state.
It's why for me personally, I installed adoni-black slate, vertically, floor to ceiling, in a natural ungelating pattern, on the long headboard wall. I did this for a few reasons:
1) black is a nuetral grounding color,
2) slate is a natural material that comes from the earth staying connected to mother earth,
3) not only are we grounded by mother earth, she's got our back.
