Timing matters.

If you’re pregnant, the best time to begin is your early second trimester, not the final stretch when everything feels urgent. If you’re leaking or living with pelvic pain, the right time is now.

Early support creates smoother births, stronger recoveries, and less frustration long-term. Waiting only makes the work harder.

Meet Aistė, who joined the 3rd Trimester group of Mamas in Motion 6 weeks ago — all the way from Lithuania 🇱🇹 — and almost didn’t come because she’s “not very social.”

But she showed up.

And she found community. Support. A space that felt like home.

That’s what Mamas in Motion is about. The 3rd trimester group is led by the Pelvic Noire team with Pelvic Floor relaxation inspired movements and education on optimizing the body for labor.

Chronic pelvic pain doesn’t always go away on its own, but that doesn’t mean you’re out of options.

Relief can look different for different bodies, and may include:
• Pelvic floor physical therapy
• Muscle relaxation and nervous system support
• Pain-management approaches beyond medication
• Hormonal or medical treatment, when needed
• Care that looks at the whole body not just test results

✨ Follow us to keep learning what care can look like.

After birth, the pelvic floor muscles and nerves that support bladder control can be stretched or weakened, causing leaking when you cough, laugh, move, or feel urgency.

The good news? Simple, non-invasive approaches can help recovery.

Leaking during exercise doesn’t mean you have to quit your workouts.

Even if you’re fit and active, several factors can make incontinence more likely:

💛 Pelvic floor weakness: Muscles that support your bladder may need strengthening after childbirth, surgery, with age, and many other factors.
💛 High-impact movement: Jumping, running, or heavy lifting puts pressure on your bladder, which can cause leaks if muscles aren’t ready.
💛 Other contributors: Hormonal changes, obesity, chronic coughing, or certain medical conditions can play a role.

But it CAN get better. → We've helped clients roller derby, jump on trampolines, run 5Ks, jump rope, chase their kids, and so many other things WITHOUT the leakage they had before.

What can we help you do without leakage?

Ever feel like you can't sit on hard surfaces for long without there being pain? 😣

This can happen due to tight pelvic floor muscles, nerve irritation, or tension. The pudendal nerve (just one of many culprits), which runs through your pelvis, can get compressed, causing pressure, burning, or tingling especially when sitting.

The pelvic floor muscles connected to the tailbone could also be impacted in a way that makes the tailbone mispositioned and more sensitive.

The good news? Pelvic floor therapy can help.
