When we started Reign & Shine, the vision was always bigger than just a play space—it was about creating something that supported parents, too. And while we’re incredibly proud of what we built, the reality behind the scenes has been a lot.
It became clear that stepping away from our physical location was the decision we needed to make. Like anything in life, sometimes things don’t unfold exactly how you planned—and you have to make decisions that allow you to move forward in a healthier, more sustainable way.
This wasn’t part of the original plan—but it was the right call for where we are now.
We showed up every day and gave this everything we had. From long commutes to building this space from the ground up, our focus was always on creating something meaningful for families and making a real impact.
We’ll always look back fondly on the families who came in with kindness and truly enjoyed our space—those moments meant more than you know. Kindness goes a long way.
This experience has also reinforced something important for us: respect matters. This is a real, family-run business, and the way people show up—whether in person or online—has always been felt.
We also deeply appreciate those who have approached this transition with patience, care, and respect—it truly means a lot.
As we move forward, we’re being intentional about what we build, who we build for, and the energy we allow around it. Not everything is for everyone—and that’s okay—but we are clear on how we expect to move and be met.
Our focus now is on building something more sustainable, with the people and environment that support that.
We’re also incredibly grateful for our team and are excited to bring them with us into what’s next.
We’re not going anywhere—we’re just shifting.
We’ll be taking a short moment to reset, spend time with our little ones, and come back with something we’re excited to share We’re excited for what’s ahead and for those who choose to be part of it 🤍
