What a joy and honor to witness my beautiful, strong friend bring her daughter into the world — sunny side up (direct occiput posterior) and with a triple nuchal cord! 🌞 This little one’s entrance was a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience both mother and baby hold. And just look at this radiant mama — truly beaming and smiling ear-to-ear after all she accomplished! From those first cries to her newborn exam, and even a little placenta tour, every moment told the story of birth’s incredible wisdom and design. Forever grateful to do this work and to witness love, trust, and courage in their purest form. Thank you for having me, and photo credits to the wonderful 💕

Last night, we welcomed the biggest baby of the year born into the care of East Tennessee Midwifery — a strong, beautiful 10 lb 9 oz bundle of love, born safely at home! 💪🏼🏡✨

We are constantly in awe of the power and resilience of birthing families. Watching this little one make his grand entrance reminded us once again — your body knows what to do, and with the right support, you are capable of incredible things. 💛

Congratulations to this amazing family on their newest arrival — your baby made quite the entrance, and we couldn’t be prouder to walk alongside you!

Getting to be there for this sweet girl when she was born — and now getting to care for her little brother — is one of those full-circle moments that makes my heart so full. Watching her proudly step into her role as big sister while holding space for their amazing mom has been such a joy. What a gift it is to walk with families through these sacred seasons. 💕
