What an AMAZING trip to Nashville for Disability Day on the Hill!

We had the best time advocating for the individuals and families we serve while connecting with so many passionate leaders from across the state. We had meaningful conversations with legislators about the importance of strong support services and policies that empower people with disabilities to live full and independent lives. It was encouraging to see so many elected officials who truly listened and engaged in thoughtful discussion.

One of the highlights was having the opportunity to meet Governor Bill Lee! It was an exciting moment and a great reminder of how important it is to share the stories and needs of the people we support directly with state leadership.

We also had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other impactful nonprofits who are doing incredible work in their communities. There is nothing more inspiring than standing alongside others who share the same mission and heart for service.

And of course, we couldn’t leave Nashville without enjoying a little sightseeing! From the beautiful Capitol building to the vibrant energy of downtown, it was the perfect backdrop for a trip filled with advocacy, connection, and purpose.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to represent our community and continue the important conversations that help create a more inclusive Tennessee for all.

Our Special Olympics basketball teams felt the love and support in such a big way — and we have some very special people to thank! šŸ’™šŸ€

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible Early Intervention Team at Emory Valley Center, the amazing families we serve, and the most amazing children who worked so hard to create handmade signs for our athletes.

The colorful posters, encouraging words, and smiling faces meant more than you know. Seeing our community come together to cheer on our teams is what makes moments like this so powerful. Our athletes weren’t just playing basketball — they were playing with the support of an entire village behind them.

This is what community looks like. This is what inclusion looks like. And we are so proud of every single person who helped make game day extra special. šŸ’™šŸ€

Thrive and Dine CafĆ© is officially brewing! ā˜•ļøāœØ

šŸ™ŒšŸ¼ A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by Friday to support the Thrive and Dine CafĆ©! Your encouragement and excitement made our soft opening such a success.

We opened on a smaller scale, serving coffee drinks and muffins while we tested out our brand-new espresso machine—and it did not disappoint! The espresso was a huge hit, and we heard so many compliments about how smooth and delicious the fresh-ground coffee tasted.

We also learned that one of our talented team members specializes in spaghetti… so be on the lookout for details about our next lunch opening! You won’t want to miss it.

A special thank you to B&T Bargains for generously donating the delicious coffee syrups that made today’s drinks extra sweet!

We are so grateful for this amazing community and can’t wait to welcome you back soon!
