🚣‍♂️ Registration is NOW OPEN for Emory Valley Center’s Inaugural Dragon Boat Race on Saturday, August 15, 2026! 🐉

Gather your coworkers, friends, or family and join us for an exciting day of racing, teamwork, and community fun — all while supporting the children and adults served by Emory Valley Center.

🔹 Quick FAQs:
• Teams consist of 11 participants (10 rowers + 1 drummer)
• Registration begins at 9:00 AM
• Races start at 10:00 AM
• Each team will have the opportunity for a practice session prior to race day
• We provide the boat, paddles, life jackets, and trained steersperson
• Teams are encouraged to bring tents, decorate, and make it a fun tailgating experience!

Whether you’re racing to compete or simply coming out to have fun, this will be an unforgettable day on the water.

We are so excited to share our newly updated brochures created in partnership with The Orange Room at the University of Tennessee!

Working with The Orange Room team was an incredible experience from start to finish. Their professionalism, creativity, and dedication truly brought our vision to life, and we could not be happier with the final product.

The Orange Room is more than a student organization — it is a living, working agency built by students, for students, with real clients and real impact at the Tombras School of Advertising and Public Relations. We were honored to be one of their very first clients and to work alongside such a talented group of students and mentors.

We are incredibly thankful for their hard work and look forward to working with them again in the future!

It’s Board Recognition Time! 🎉

Carly and Brittany would like to recognize Bridget and Jamie for the incredible dedication, consistency, and care they bring to our Pre-K classroom each and every day. 💚

In just a few short months, the growth and transformation in the classroom has been amazing to witness. From learning to write names and beginning to read, to creating engaging curriculum experiences and meaningful family celebrations, their impact has been tremendous.

Most importantly, Bridget and Jamie pour their hearts into each child, focusing on individual growth and development. We are so grateful to have them as part of the ELC family!
