Sometimes it’s necessary to remove things in order to get to a place of healing.

I like to think of the elimination diet as a way to reset and get back into balance.
It’s also the fastest way to relieve symptoms of leaky gut.

It needs to be done right. I highly recommend working with someone who knows what they’re doing and have the resources to provide you with the tools to do this successfully.

Food for thought 💭 Mindset makes a difference.✨

Instead of looking at preparing meals as a chore. I remember it’s a form of self care. 🤗
If we don’t take the time to nourish our body, our body won’t take care of us in return.

And over time, you will believe aging is the reason for your pains & PMS is a normal reoccurrence, and indigestion and bloating is a common reaction. That autoimmune disease is genetic and you have no control over your body.

Don’t fall into that trap.

Where can you find the time to make some simple meals?

Look at your average screen time per day, instead of spending that time scrolling - start baking or assemble simple meals.

Awareness is the first step.

A super easy and healthy lunch 🥗
𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱

This is a great recipe for all those upset tummies out there. It’s gluten free, dairy free, corn free, soy free, egg free & nut free.

One of the many recipes you will find on my meal plan 😉

This one is made from my favorite
albacore tuna
➜sustainably caught and all batches are tested for a mercury limit that is three times 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 than the FDA action limit. ✅

Tuna is a wonderful source of protein with 14g per serving!

I added chopped onion, tomatoes, celery, and some leftover dry coleslaw mix of cabbage and carrots. Mixed it all together in a bowl.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴⤵
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup lime juice
3 cloves garlic, minced
1TSP salt
1 tsp pepper

That’s it!

I like to roll up the tuna salad in a large piece of romaine or red leaf lettuce. A tortilla would be delicious to🤤

You can even make a large batch ahead of time for lunches - keep in an airtight container- just leave the dressing on the side. 😉

The body is filled with stem cells and has the capacity to regenerate and heal damaged cells and tissues.

But if it’s not being provided with the necessary materials to regenerate and heal - I’m afraid it will only break down into further dysfunction.

We have lost perspective on what real food is, what it even tastes like because of the chemically altered food-like products in our society.

We are designed to eat, break down and absorb molecules from real food - grown on this earth.

You need to eat real food to get better.

This Thai Coconut Curry Chicken & Rice was bursting with flavor and full of warm 🥰healing spices like Ginger, Turmeric and Curry.

Lots of 🧄 garlic 🧅onion 🥕carrot & 🍅 tomatoes created a delicious foundation of flavor for this dish.

Garlic, Onion and Turmeric are some of the most well researched foods due to their health benefits.
See for yourself 👀

A study from the National Cancer Institute found that eating 10 grams (approximately two teaspoons) or more of garlic, onions or scallions a day was associated with a statistically significantly lower risk of prostate cancer for the participants in the study.

A study conducted at Case Western Reserve University indicated that garlic may help reduce the occurrence rate of pre-cancerous tumors (polyps) in the large intestine.

The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle found that eating a teaspoon of fresh garlic and a half cup of onions per day increases the levels of a key enzyme for removing toxins in the blood cells of healthy women.

Another study, conducted in Scotland, found that eating sautéed onions increases the resistance of the blood cells to DNA damage.

In more recent research—𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙜𝙪𝙩 𝙢𝙞𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙤𝙩𝙖 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚—hints that curcumin can change our gut microbiome in ways that have positive effects on the entire body and the mind.

This one is grain-free & dairy free✅

Yes, these are chocolatey muffins with a base of black beans, and they are delightful.
Recipe by:

Beans are a wonderful source of fiber and plant protein, making these a healthy dessert.
Each muffin has approximately 5g of protein and 2.5g of fiber.

It’s super easy - all made in the food processor.✨

I used a can of organic black beans by
organic eggs
organic maple syrup
ground Madagascar vanilla
coconut oil
cocoa powder
baking soda
And mini chocolate chips

This took me about 10 minutes to make and 20 minutes in the oven to bake.

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱/ 𝗴𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 / 𝘃𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 🌱

When I first began to heal my gut after finding out I had celiac disease, soups became a consistent meal for myself. They are easy to make for one, and incredibly nourishing to the body.

Soup also means - all the veggies and ingredients are cooked, so it’s easy on digestion. This is incredibly helpful when you’re trying to heal your gut. ✨

Not to mention, you’ll always have leftovers from a large pot like this, providing you lunch or snacks for the next few days.

I used olive oil to sauté the veggies
fire roasted tomatoes
veggie broth
green lentils and their jarred minced garlic from my precious post

The spices used - cumin, oregano, basil, thyme and salt + pepper = delicious 🤤

This is the kind of meal that really feeds the gut bugs. Full of insoluble and soluble fiber. It’s plant based, but lentils provide a decent amount protein (9g per 1/4 cup) 👍

Recipe by:
✅Gluten free
✅Dairy free
✅ No oil

Gluten free does not mean dry. This chocolatey banana bread came out moist and delicious 🤤

I never use refined sugar anymore. Most of the recipes I make now use maple syrup, honey or dates for sweetener.

Here I used maple syrup

Madagascar ground vanilla

The only flour used for this one is almond. I used blanched fine almond flour and baking soda

For the chocolate 🍫
organic unsweetened cocoa powder

& dark chocolate chips (also dairy free)

This was super simple to make (seeing a trend here? 😉)
It doesn’t take a ton of time to eat healthy, even when it comes to enjoying decant, chocolate banana bread like this.

Making your own bread and dessert is SO helpful when it comes to protecting your digestive health and gut. Why? Because you’re avoiding all of the extra “crap” they usually use in baked foods today (the additives, preservatives and chemicals)

Anyways, try this one out ! You’ll love it. ❤️
