This quote has been on my mind a lot this week. Some of you know I am having an oral surgery on Monday that may require them to wire my jaw shut for 6 weeks. If so, it will make chanting (my main spiritual practice) pretty challenging. I'm chanting even more this week than usual so I'm practicing while I can because I may not be able to chant in my usual way for a while. It is interesting how life takes us deeper into our spiritual practice when we allow it. How are you allowing life to take you even deeper into your own unfolding and connecting?

🌟 Update + Heartfelt Thanks 🌟

First, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity, prayers, and support during this incredibly intense time. Every donation, kind word, and share truly means the world to me.

This past week has been a whirlwind. On Friday, I had to go to the ER for an emergency CAT scan and IV antibiotics due to a serious infection spreading through my lower jaw. Thankfully, they ruled out sepsis. The situation is urgent and requires immediate action.

I’ve been through a heartbreaking and exhausting rollercoaster trying to find a surgeon who could treat me in a hospital setting under general anesthesia. I've been passed between providers and bounced around between Kaiser and multiple oral surgeons with no one able to help—leaving me in tears more than once.

💥 Good news (finally!): I now have an appointment this Friday afternoon with a highly recommended oral surgeon in San Francisco who also does bone grafting, which may be part of my care. This is the first real ray of hope I’ve had since this nightmare began.

I still don’t know whether this urgent surgery will be covered by insurance, but what I do know is that I need to move quickly before the infection spreads further into my body. The longer the delay, the greater the risk.

I need your help badly 😢

After a routine wisdom‑tooth extraction in Tijuana, I’ve been left with a severe jawbone infection, nerve damage, and mounting medical bills—now spiraling toward $10,000.to repair the damage that was done. The whole I will, unfortunately, need to have weeks off work, costly surgery, and perhaps months of recovery.

NRE stands for New Relationship Energy. It’s the emotional and physical buzz that often comes when you’re falling for someone new.
