Our Story
Seneca Orange County is the Southern California branch of the statewide agency, serving more than 1,000 children and families in Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside Counties each year.
PROGRAMS:
PERMANENCE – Seneca OC places over 100 children in adoptive homes each year. The commitment is to children who are waiting the longest for a permanent family, part of a sibling group, developmentally challenged or medically fragile, and older youth. Services include family recruitment, assessment, pre-adoption training, family finding, placement facilitation, and post-adoption education and support.
EDUCATION – Seneca OC offers academic and enrichment activities to children through programming at our Canyon Acres Ranch.
MENTAL HEALTH – Seneca OC delivers therapeutic and child development services to 500 children and families each year through clinics in Tustin and Anaheim Hills. Families in crisis receive intensive, individualized wraparound services to keep children in a healthy family setting.
INNOVATION – Seneca OC is a leader in adoption, child welfare, and mental health, and has trained thousands of professionals. Seneca OC creates collaborative partnerships to improve services and outcomes for children and families in Orange County.
Through the unconditional care model, thousands of children are growing up in forever families, learning about their world, healing from past trauma, and looking forward to bright futures. Seneca Orange County envisions a world where systems work together effectively to help all children and families thrive, and we need your help!
