This is a 90 minute service dedicated to nourishing your mind, soul and skin.

This service is safe for generally all skin types and conditions, and if it’s not safe for your skin I’ll swap something out! Majority of my backbar is geared towards sensitive skin so even if you’ve never had a facial before, this is still a great option for you that I promise you’ll be delighted with the results.

Don’t have a skincare routine? No problem, I’m here to help you build one whenever you’re ready to commit! Your routine doesn’t have to be a 5+ step routine. Start with the basics of cleanser, moisturizer and spf and you’ll get your barrier back into shape. However, ingredients are still important especially when it comes to your skin type when choosing these!

When clients receive a facial from me I perform a skin analysis and inquire about goals, current routine and what’s working & what’s not for you right now. After analyzing your skin I can make recommendations for cleansers and moisturizers that might be most suitable for me your skin!

Let’s talk about enzymes in the treatment room! This is a professional back bar product that although everyone loves the smell of, I can’t retail this one to you! I love this enzyme mask, especially paired with dermaplaning is CHEFS KISS! 😘
Enzymes eat away our dead skin cells using fruit extracts, instead of sloughing them off like other forms of exfoliation. Different fruits have different intensities. The Incredible Enzymes from Hale & Hush are gentle enough for almost everyone! I use these for a variety of conditions and skin types.

Bro I got hella chocolate on my lips because I ate a frosty from Wendy’s and didn’t realize until I recorded this. I’m gonna go do my gentle skin care routine now and wash that off my face 😭😂😂😂

Anyway, active ingredients are great and helpful but not necessarily needed every day! Dont forget your skin needs to be nourished and hydrated to protect your lovely skin barrier. Once the barrier is compromised and you notice increased redness, skin flaking, burning, etc you are causing more inflammation using these actives. It’s okay to draw it back and start off gentle again! The skin on your face is different than the skin on the rest of your body, it cannot tolerate aggressive actives like that daily especially without any other supporting products.

Story time with Hannie while I tint my eyebrows!

This is a little bit of a vulnerable post. Part of why I share this is because I want to create a safe space for others to be able to feel confident in my treatment from any of my services.

I use to sit in front of a magnifying mirror every single day and pluck my brows. When I started school I finally let them grow back out. Honestly, thanks to some other esti’s I follow on here I no longer even look in the mirror up close anymore because I am done destroying my skin over minor “imperfections.” I did this because I was told I had caterpillar eyebrows by someone who bullied me for years, including physical abuse.

I shaved my arm hair once because I hated it and then was scared people would comment on my arm hair length from the grow back in the 6th grade. I would wear long sleeves/hoodies even on hot days out of shame.

I remember being cornered at recess and called “freckle face” and wishing they would go away. They have faded a bit since getting into skincare which makes me sad, as I adore my freckles as an adult now.

All that to say… I am beautiful as I am. It’s okay that I do other enhancing things that make me feel more like myself, boost my confidence and radiate. I’m so happy I let my brows grow back. I love tinting them because they are blonde at the roots and compliment my eyes more now. I like having my nails done because it’s a conversation started. I love having my lashes done because it helps me step into a bolder version of myself.

All that to say… I am so happy with this career and I hope that I always remember, that this is the point. It’s not about money or perfection or honestly anything other than helping people connect more to their bodies, to their most authentic self and to boost their confidence.
