One of our Providers, Ann, was a guest presenter for United Way of Marion County 's Strong Families again with Class 20 ~ Healthy living for the single adults with no children class. She discussed the importance of prevention and establishing a medical home to stay healthy.

Almost three dozen agencies, organizations, and individuals—coming together every week—focused on one thing: the health and wellbeing of Marion County’s most vulnerable residents.

Spearheaded by Ocala Fire Rescue Mobile Integrated Health and Marion Senior Services, this High Utilizer Group includes Marion County Fire Rescue, Ocala Police Department, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Children and Families, behavioral health centers, homeless agencies, the domestic violence shelter, veteran’s services, and more organizations than we can fit in one post.

Weekly meetings. Real conversations. Real solutions.
This is what it looks like when a community decides to stop working in silos and start working together. We are so proud of every person in this room for showing up — not once, but every week — to challenge the status quo and make a lasting difference in people’s lives.

Marion County, you should be proud. 🙌
