The entire Eye Care Center of Ocala team are excited to welcome the newest member of our eye care family — Dr. Rebecca Geering!
Rebecca Geering, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry with Highest Honors from Nova Southeastern University, where she also earned a Bachelor of Vision Science. With nearly two decades of experience in the eye care industry, she is both a board-certified optometrist and licensed optician. Her clinical training included externships at the Gainesville VA, The Villages VA, and Planet Vision Eyecare, where she earned multiple honors distinctions.
Dr. Geering has advanced expertise in dry eye, ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and myopia management, and she holds certifications in Paragon CRT and MiSight. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and several professional honor societies. Passionate about patient care, she is dedicated to improving vision and enhancing quality of life through both medical and preventative eye care.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Geering enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending live music events and festivals, and relaxing at the beach or on a cruise.
