🚨IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING HORSE SAFETY, APPOINTMENT POLICIES & STAFF PROTECTION🚨
At BioStride Therapy, the safety of every horse, owner, handler, employee, and bystander will always be our highest priority.
While the vast majority of horses do extremely well in our spa, there are occasions when a horse may become anxious, reactive, or unsafe during a session. If at any time we believe continuing a session could place the horse, handlers, our staff, or our equipment at risk, the session will be immediately discontinued.
Not every horse is a candidate for the spa on their first visit. Horses that are naturally anxious, reactive, or uncomfortable in new environments may require additional preparation, or veterinarian-approved sedation administered by the owner, owner’s agent, or attending veterinarian. BioStride Therapy does not administer sedation.
Before every appointment, owners are required to complete and sign our release waiver. Our waiver clearly outlines our policies, including appointment responsibilities, safety procedures, and payment obligations. Scheduling an appointment reserves a time slot specifically for your horse, and payment remains the responsibility of the owner even if a session must be discontinued due to safety concerns, horse behavior, or failure to follow BioStride Therapy policies.
We will never compromise safety in an attempt to complete a session.
📍We also want to make it clear that respectful communication and behavior toward our staff is expected at all times. Our team works extremely hard to provide a safe, professional, and positive experience for every client and horse. Aggressive, abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward our employees will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
📍For the protection of our horses, clients, employees, and equipment, BioStride Therapy utilizes video surveillance systems in and around the spa trailer. Activities occurring during appointments may be recorded and reviewed when necessary to address safety concerns, incidents, disputes, policy violations, insurance matters, or legal proceedings.
These policies are not designed to be difficult. They are in place to protect everyone involved and to ensure that every horse receives the safest experience possible.
We sincerely appreciate the many clients who trust us with their horses, respect our policies, and understand that every decision we make is based on safety, professionalism, and the well-being of the horse.
Thank you for your continued support.
