Sister is back in for her cold saltwater treatment. She loves her spa sessions! She is the sweetest most well behaved two year old thoroughbred we’ve had the pleasure of working with. We love having her here!

𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗛𝗩 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘

This will be our last update regarding the recent EHV situation.

We’re pleased to report that the EHV outbreak in the rodeo world appears to be resolved, there are no new cases being reported, and there are currently no farms under quarantine. Normal horse movement, showing, training, and riding activities are encouraged.

All official case numbers and outbreak information are reported through the Equine Disease Communication Center (EDCC), which remains the authoritative source for ongoing disease surveillance.

As always, biosecurity should remain part of everyday horse management, not just during outbreaks:
• Monitor temperatures regularly
• Use isolation for new or returning horses when possible
• Avoid sharing equipment between horses
• Maintain clean stalls, trailers, and water sources

The outbreak died because the horse community did what we required in isolation, quarantining, and monitoring. 𝙇𝙚𝙩’𝙨 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜—with smart, routine biosecurity in place.

The Equine Disease Communication Center is monitoring an outbreak of EHM that originated at the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) World Finals and Elite Barrel Race event Nov 5-9. To date, officially confirmed cases have been reported in the following states:
