Don’t blink, or you’ll miss the magic ✨

We often say how quickly time passes, how before we know it our children are grown, we haven’t seen that one friend in years, that hobby we once loved is a thing of the past.. and it really is passing no matter if we choose to see it or not.

And while we can’t physically slow down time, we can choose to focus our attention on what’s aligned for us, allowing our intuition to guide us to the very next thing we need to do in that moment to step closer to fulfilling our purpose.

I love this time of year in particular for seeing time in action. Nature starts moving again, we see new blooms, the birds are more active, and it’s like we can choose to go about our day on autopilot or we can choose to look up at the sky for moment of complete awe, seeing those happy little birds doing seemingly nothing but for them it’s intentional.

We can do the same, seemingly nothing thing, with intention 🫶

If I haven’t answered your text in days, I still love you but I love me, too 🫶 and I’ve been loving the presence in my life lately.

We often think of presence as something that just happens—but really, it’s something we make space for.

Here are five easeful ways to invite more presence into your day:

✨ Give yourself 5 extra minutes before you leave the house or shift into something new.

✨ Set intentional phone-check windows instead of defaulting to constant scrolling.

✨ Do one thing at a time. Multitasking scatters energy.

✨ Create systems that lighten your mental load—like a weekly dinner plan or simple organizing ritual.

✨ Pause for a moment of gratitude or wonder. Let awe anchor you in the now.

Presence doesn’t mean slowing your life down—it means slowing yourself down within it.

Let it be simple. Let it feel good. Let it bring you back to you.

💬 What helps you stay present lately?

Simply choosing to tune in instead of tune out 🌿

There are many body signals we tend to ignore or overlook, and see as inconvenient parts of us. But they really do hold so much wisdom.

Asking what it’s signaling for you is your next step.
I hope this reframe will be as powerful for you as it has been for me 🌿

We won’t always get it right, but choosing to take the best next step for you, and celebrate the growth along the way will always feel supportive.

Third book of the year after starting a little accountability challenge with a friend 📚

Loved this quote from a chapter in Perfectly Yourself by Matthew Kelly, about self-discovery and connection back to self after a lifetime of listening to the stories others have told you; about how you identify with yourself, what success looks like, and what will bring you happiness.

Define it for yourself, with all the answers already placed inside you by Spirit, and you’ll be guaranteed personal fulfillment 🤍

Wellness isn’t about doing it all perfectly ✨

It’s about learning what you need and making small shifts that add up.

Which of these five areas feels most supportive to you right now? Let’s talk in the comments! ⬇️

Change can feel overwhelming—like you’re stuck in a cycle of “why is this happening to me?”

But what if you could shift that question to “how can I grow from this?” 🌿

Locus of control is the belief about what’s within your power to change. When we lean into an internal locus of control (instead of blaming outside forces), we start to see possibility where we once saw limitation. Pair that with a growth mindset, and resilience becomes something we cultivate—not something we wait for. ✨

Swipe through for simple shifts that help you reclaim your power in the face of change. Then, take a moment to reframe one challenge you’re facing today. What’s one way you can shift your perspective to take aligned action? Drop it in the comments! 👇💬

Just me, talking about self-care again 😅

I want to address a few common barriers I see to taking time for self-care, all of which are so valid!

1. Time
2. Help
3. Distraction

As I speak next, I don’t say any of this to disregard those barriers, only to help you see a different path if you feel ready to 🫶

Time is challenging. At the end of every day, we wonder, where did all the time go, I feel like I just woke up! In reality, there are pockets of time in our day that maybe we could use more effectively. Check your screen time use on your phone. Where are you spending most of your time? Set some self-boundaries around whatever that is for you that is consuming it. When you do have just 5 minutes, try to spend it closing your eyes and grounding, practicing a deep breathing exercise, or staying present with the moment. If you have an hour, can you allow yourself to not fill that time with more responsibilities if possible? Are there ways to reduce the time it takes to get required tasks completed, like implementing a system or making an easier meal for dinner?

I’m relating to a lot of moms right now, so I want to mention childcare. We don’t all have the luxury of easy access to childcare, so is there a way we can get creative with asking for help? Is there someone who can come over for 20 minutes while you take a walk?
For anyone, is there a conversation you need to have with a family member or your partner to carry more of the load? Can you work towards delegating a task that doesn’t need to be done by you?

I read a quote recently about distraction and goal setting. “If it’s not serving you or your goals, it’s a distraction.” This could be anything from scrolling on your phone for longer than you wanted to, to trying to solve your best friend’s problems in an hour phone conversation. Recognize what your goals are when it comes to self-care, and analyze what’s pulling you away from meeting them, with a compassionate lens.

It’s okay to feel frustrated, or even angry, that you haven’t taken opportunities for self-care 🤍

As always, take what resonates and leave the rest! Hope this hits home for whoever it needs to

The mantras I didn’t know I needed until I realized I was being controlled by my need to control 🫠

We all have this innate need for safety, assurance, and knowing. It is not easy to surrender into full trust. I have made it a goal for myself over the past year to focus on self-trust and self-compassion, and I’ve seen such a difference in my decision making, and now misalignment can be redirected with fewer hurdles because of the work I’ve done to understand myself, why I make certain decisions, and act in a certain way.

Releasing control was huge for me in a big life decision I made six months ago to close a chapter on something I worked so hard to build. I wanted to have all the answers for how it would unfold, what would be next for me. And looking back, it didn’t serve me at all. In fact, it made that season harder than it needed to be.

Where I’ve had to see this work lately is in parenting. My sweet little baby has entered the phase of asserting her autonomy, which I had not yet witnessed. In my need to control, she was having a hard time with the resistance I was giving her. It took a lot of self-evaluation, connecting with her, learning about this phase and integrating all I’ve learned about peaceful parenting. It all came down to connecting to the present moment and *releasing control* as the ultimate solution.

We tend to want to control for many reasons, but here are a few popular ones:
-Fear rejection or abandonment
-Fear of the unknown
-Self Worth reflected in approval of others
-Need for safety, trying to prevent a certain outcome
-Need to manage other’s emotions

Get curious about *why* you take certain actions, say yes or no to something, notice what words you choose. This is a direct effort to get you back to your aligned self, decipher between what’s authentic to you and what is anything else (people pleasing, perfectionism, fear, feeling lack).

Are any of these mantras speaking to you? Let me know in the comments below!

Ever feel like you’re craving “something more” but can’t quite put your finger on it?

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is a theory of human motivation that helps us understand what we need—physically, emotionally, and mentally—to feel aligned and fulfilled.

Today, I’m sharing five powerful journaling questions to help you reflect on where you are in each layer of growth.

Going IN is scary, being honest with yourself requires extreme courage, so if you need support, don’t be afraid to reach out or seek professional help. Be proud of where you are right now 🫶

Save this post for your next reflection session, or share in the comments: which question resonates with you the most today? 💭👇

What’s new with you, Dre?!

I almost always reply “nothing much” and I think I’m working through not feeling “interesting enough” to share the ins and outs of my life, and other times it really does feel like not much is new, but slowly things are always subtly shifting, so it feels like not much is changing. Then, when you look back in 2 months, or a year, you barely recognize that prior version of yourself.

Anyways, here’s what’s new:
I visited my sister in Florida, the winter getaway we needed to get outside and just have fun 🌞

Nurturing my daughter in ways I never thought possible— fostering a love for music, being outside, doing normal house things with music always on (Jack Johnson radio has been our go-to playlist), looking through family photos, and intentionally surrounding myself with mamas that inspire me. It’s been so beautiful, rewarding, and so healing to give her the love and care she needs and deserves 🫶

Deepening some of my personal relationships to a level of complete acceptance and understanding I never had before 💕

BTS rebranding and creating new offerings to come soon! 🌾

Self work- lots of it. In the physical and the mental. We are ever-evolving beings meant to shift with the tides. Using down time to get really reflective and implement new findings into my life that feel aligned for me. 📚 🖊️

Also letting my movement practice flow with the unexpected and honoring what my body is asking for 🌿

Hope you enjoyed and maybe one day Francesca will take pictures of *me* instead of the other way around 😂 but as it is, her life is my life and you get to reap the benefits here!
