Transitioning to Adult Care: Time is Ticcing Away
Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 3 – 4pm EST

In this webinar, we will discuss the process of transitioning from Pediatric to Adult care for patients with Tourette Syndrome, Chronic Tic Disorders, and co-occurring conditions. There are a number of dramatic contrasts between Pediatric and Adult medicine that often complicate the transition process. For example, the dynamics of an adult medical visit are completely different than in a Pediatric medical visit. Also, coordination of care between medical providers is often more complicated and is more patient-driven. Participants of this webinar will be presented with strategies to manage these and other challenges inherent to the transition process.
