Hapé (also spelled rapé) is a sacred, powdered s***f traditionally used by Indigenous tribes of the Amazon for spiritual, ceremonial, and medicinal purposes.

It is made from mapacho (Amazonian to***co) blended with alkaline plant ashes, tree barks, roots, seeds, and medicinal plants. Each tribe and lineage carries its own recipes, prayers, and intentions, making every hapé blend unique in its spirit and effect.

How Hapé Is Used

Hapé is not smoked. It is administered by blowing a small amount of the powder into the nostrils using a special pipe called a kuripe (self-application) or tepi (administered by another person). The application is intentional and ceremonial, often accompanied by prayer or meditation.

Why People Use Hapé

Hapé is commonly used to:

Clear mental and emotional fog

Ground the body and calm the nervous system

Support focus, presence, and meditation

Release stagnant energy

Deepen connection to nature, spirit, and self

Many people experience an immediate sense of clarity, stillness, and grounding, making hapé a powerful ally for daily ritual, prayer, or ceremonial work.

Used with respect and intention, hapé is considered a plant teacher—helping bring balance, awareness, and alignment.

For everyone who’s interested in joining me or crossing paths in the Amazon this year, here’s my current travel schedule. You don’t need to be there for the exact dates—if I’m around and you’d like to connect or spend a day or two together, just let me know. I’ll share updates if anything changes.

Planned dates:
• End of February for Carnival
• March 14th (my birthday 👀✨)
• June 15th
• October 22nd
• End of December, most likely over Christmas

I’ll also be stopping in Lima for a few days to relax and spend time with friends.

Let’s make this year about growth, healing, awakening, and meaningful change—even when that change is challenging. There are many opportunities to truly invest in your mental and spiritual well-being. Throughout the year, we’ll be offering ayahuasca ceremonies as well as Bufo and Kambo trainings. Group sizes are intentionally small, so advance sign-up is recommended.

How M**A Helps in PTSD Therapy

1. Reduces Fear and Defensive Responses

M**A decreases activity in the amygdala, the brain’s fear center.
This allows people with PTSD to recall traumatic memories without becoming overwhelmed or dissociating.

➡️ Trauma can be revisited safely instead of being avoided.

2. Increases Trust, Safety, and Emotional Openness

M**A increases release of oxytocin and serotonin, which enhances:

Feelings of trust

Emotional connection

Sense of safety with the therapist

➡️ This makes it easier to talk about trauma that was previously too painful or shut down.

3. Improves Emotional Processing

People often report being able to:

Observe trauma without shame or self-blame

Feel compassion for themselves

Reframe traumatic events with new insight

➡️ The memory loses its emotional charge, even though it’s still remembered.

4. Enhances Memory Reconsolidation

Under M**A, the brain can reprocess traumatic memories and store them again in a less threatening form.

➡️ This helps weaken trauma loops like flashbacks, hypervigilance, and nightmares.

5. Strengthens the Therapeutic Alliance

M**A-assisted therapy tends to deepen trust between client and therapist, which is a major predictor of successful PTSD treatment.

What the Research Shows

Clinical trials (including Phase 3 studies) show significant symptom reduction, with many participants no longer meeting criteria for PTSD after treatment.

Benefits often persist months or years, unlike daily medications.

How Indigenous Tribes Celebrated the New Year
For many Indigenous cultures, the New Year began when the Earth signaled it. Guided by solstices, harvests, and sacred cycles, tribes gathered around ceremonial fires to pray, drum, and honor the spirits of the land and ancestors. These sacred moments were times of renewal, intention-setting, and deep connection with nature as one cycle closed and another was born.

🌿 Iboga vs Ayahuasca 🌿
Two powerful ancestral medicines. Very different teachers.

Iboga 🌱
🖤 Root bark from Central Africa
🖤 Known as the Teacher Medicine
🖤 Deep life review, clarity, discipline
🖤 Often used for addiction interruption and life correction
🖤 Long, intense, and physically demanding

Ayahuasca 🍃
🤍 Amazonian vine + plant brew
🤍 Known as the Mother Medicine
🤍 Visionary, emotional, heart-opening
🤍 Supports trauma release, spiritual insight, and connection
🤍 Shorter journey, deeply symbolic

✨ In simple terms:
Iboga shows you the truth of your life.
Ayahuasca helps you heal your heart.

⚠️ Both medicines require respect, preparation, and experienced guidance. These are not recreational — they are sacred traditions passed down through indigenous lineages.

🌎 Honor the roots. Respect the medicine. Integrate the wisdom.

🌿 Hapé: A Sacred Amazonian Medicine 🌿

Hapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is an ancient ceremonial s***f carried by the Indigenous tribes of the Amazon for generations. Crafted from sacred mapacho to***co and blended with ashes of medicinal plants, each hapé carries the spirit, prayers, and wisdom of the forest.

🌀 How It Is Used
Hapé is gently administered through the nose using a kuripe or tepi. This ritual is often performed in stillness—before meditation, prayer, ceremony, or healing work—to open perception and bring the mind into balance.

✨ Purpose & Benefits
• Clears stagnant thoughts and energetic blocks
• Grounds awareness into the present moment
• Deepens meditation and spiritual connection
• Supports emotional and energetic cleansing
• Aligns mind, body, and spirit

For Indigenous cultures, hapé is a tool of discipline, clarity, and spiritual alignment—not recreation. When used with respect, it becomes a bridge between the human spirit and the intelligence of the Earth.

🌎 Our hapé is ethically sourced from tribes in Peru and Brazil, honoring the lineage, tradition, and sacred reciprocity of this medicine.

🙏 Breathe. Ground. Remember.

🧠✨ DMT & the Pineal Gland ✨🧠

The pineal gland has long been called the “third eye” — a bridge between biology and consciousness.

🔹 Science confirms the pineal gland’s primary role is producing melatonin, which regulates sleep and circadian rhythms.
🔹 Tiny traces of DMT have been found in the human body, but there is no solid evidence showing the pineal gland produces DMT in psychedelic amounts.
🔹 The idea of pineal DMT release during dreams, birth, or death remains theoretical, not proven.

✨ Where science ends, curiosity begins.
The mystery of consciousness is still unfolding.

HOW INDIGENOUS TRIBES CELEBRATED SACRED HOLIDAYS 🌿🔥

Long before modern holidays and calendars, Native American tribes honored the turning of the seasons, the movement of the sun, and the sacred relationship between people, land, and spirit.

Winter was not marked by consumer celebrations, but by ceremony, gratitude, and community. Tribes gathered around sacred fires to pray, sing, drum, tell ancestral stories, and give thanks for survival through the colder months. These sacred holidays honored the return of the light, the wisdom of the elders, and the balance of all living things.

Food was shared, gifts were given freely, and wealth was measured not by what one had — but by what one could give. Nature itself was the temple. The earth, stars, trees, and smoke carried prayers to the spirit world.

These traditions remind us that sacred celebration is not about a single day —
it is about living in harmony, remembering our ancestors, and honoring the earth.

🪶 With deep respect to the Native American tribes whose wisdom continues to guide us.

Long before clocks and calendars, the ancestors honored this season as a holy threshold. As the earth fell silent and the stars burned brighter, tribes gathered to pray, cleanse, and remember who they were.

Kambo purified the body and spirit.
Hapé carried prayers on sacred breath.
Mushrooms opened the veil and taught through vision.
San Pedro awakened the heart and reconnected the people to Pachamama.

These were not holidays of excess, but of reverence—releasing the old, honoring the earth, and welcoming the return of the light. May we walk this season with gratitude, humility, and prayer. ✨🔥🌿
