If your shoulder has been hurting for months and nothing’s helped, read this.

You can heal your shoulder with just 10 minutes a day. I know we are all busy, but don’t tell me you don’t have 10 minutes to take control of your health and solve your problem.

This is the process of one of our patients that came in with over six months of shoulder pain causing difficulty with sleep and stopped training due to continued pain. After just two weeks working at Upgrade PT, their peak force improved dramatically, pain dropped, and they’re already back to working out without issues.

The process to heal is often simple, but many find it hard to execute. Not because it doesn’t work, but because most people lack the understanding, don’t address the actual problem, and lack trust to stay consistent enough to see results.

This is what we do every day. We evaluate, test, and train the shoulder to restore true strength, mobility, and control. That’s when the pain fades and confidence comes back.

Another success story at Upgrade PT. This patient came in after an accident that led to tears in her rotator cuff. At the start of care, she was limited in shoulder function, struggling with sleep, lifting, and daily activities. After 12 weeks of consistent rehab, she’s now able to move and work out pain free, without compensation or aggravation in the days following her workouts.

This is another example of how identifying the root cause and staying consistent with a focused plan gives the body the tools it needs to heal and restore full function.

In the first session we worked on external rotation and extension mobility at the shoulder joint, plus improving the activation of the rotator cuff for better stability. Those changes led to improved ability to overhead press and can now lift with less pain and more control and even improved behind the back reach. Not fingertip to fingertip yet, but closer every time. These positive changes indicate we are addressing the root cause of the shoulder problem (not just masking symptoms) and are on track for long lasting results in function and pain!

This motocross competitor faced challenges with daily activities and training due to lingering right knee pain from a meniscus injury. However, after 6 weeks of focused rehabilitation, he's resumed competitive racing. 🚨 Still dealing with shoulder pain?

Most people are told:
❌ “You’ll need surgery.”
❌ “It won’t get any better.”
❌ “Just stop lifting or playing sports.”

They try injections, medications, or random stretches or exercises found on the Internet… but nothing changes. Why?
👉 Because they were never properly assessed.

Shoulder pain gone and retired life back on track ✅

He came in with sharp pain at the top of his left shoulder that shot down his arm. Sleeping was uncomfortable and playing pickleball was tough.

After just 6 visits over 8 weeks, he’s now back on the court pain free, lifting overhead in the gym, and moving through life without hesitation.

Pressing, pulling, pushing, carrying are all back in the routine. Proud of the work he put in to get here!

One visit. Big change.
This motocross rider came in with knee pain, walking with a limp and limited motion. You can see it in the first clip he was stiff, with guarded steps, no hip extension, landing on his toes.

After some focused work in our session, you can already see the difference:
• Better stride
• Improved knee extension (-10° ➡️ -3°)
• More flexion (110° ➡️ 125°)
• And most importantly more speed and confidence moving

Still some work ahead, but he’s well on his way to riding pain free again.
