DOT’s Part 40 updates allow oral fluid testing (effective Dec 5, 2024), but that doesn’t mean you can fully implement it yet. As of Jan 6, 2026, HHS’ certified lab list shows no labs certified to run DOT oral fluid drug + validity testing.

Note: For situational awareness, the Salvation Army will operate at an expanded capacity. According to Michael Cain with the Midland Salvation Army, the facility can accommodate approximately 150–175 individuals at maximum capacity. Transportation to the facility is not provided. The Salvation Army will offer three meals per day and allow pets, provided animals remain crated while inside the facility.
