We are so grateful for our East Ridge Lunch Ladies who always find a way to make us smile! ❤️ Even with paper bags on their heads, they’re serving up love and a little bit of Halloween fun. Hey, OTech High students! 🍗🥔🥗 Lunch today was the bomb!

🍽️ OTech High Lunch Vibe Check!
Check out this amazing spread we had today! Many plates were stacked with a juicy chicken drumstick, creamy mashed potatoes with gravy, and a warm roll. 🤤 It was the perfect comfort food fix!

But wait, there’s more! 👇 You know our lunch options are always on point:

Lunch at Mount Ogden yesterday was an absolute hit! 🤩 We served up a total crowd-pleaser: NACHOS! Everyone loves them because you can build your plate exactly the way you want it. Whether you pile on the toppings or keep it simple, they’re always a guaranteed delicious time. 😋

And if nachos aren’t your thing, don’t worry! We also had all the usual hot and cold sandwiches available to grab and go. Lots of options so there’s always something for everyone! 🥪🥗

A special shout-out to our manager, Michelle, who was getting students involved in a fun pumpkin contest! 🎃 Students submitted names for the pumpkins, and the best ones won one of the pumpkins on display to take home! The last two photos show our happy winners with their fantastic pumpkins. Congrats, everyone! 🎉

Lunch at Heritage Elementary was a success today! While both options were popular, the grilled cheese and tomato soup was seriously next-level delicious. A big shoutout to the kitchen staff for that gooey, cheesy goodness!

But the real star? The salad bar! It’s so cool watching our little Huskies build their own perfect plate, loading up on all those colorful fruits and veggies. 🍎🥦🥕

We know that a family’s financial situation can change at any time. If your household income has recently decreased due to a job change, loss of work, or other circumstances, please don’t wait for the next school year!

You can apply for Free or Reduced-Price school meals right away to get immediate support for your students. This benefit is quick, confidential, and can make a big difference in your budget and your child’s day.

Already applied this year but didn’t qualify? If you have experienced a loss or change of income since then, you can and should apply again!

How to Apply:
Online: Through your child’s Infinite Campus Portal.
Paper Copy: Ask the secretary at your child’s school.

Fueling up the Wasatch Wildcats today! 😋 You can opt for the classic fish sticks with those amazingly satisfying bacon ranch potatoes 🥓🥔. Seriously, who knew school lunch could be this good? The other choice was a fresh sandwich and crisp apple slices 🍎🥪—another great option! Decisions, decisions! 😉

Looking for the perfect way to kick off the holiday season? Come join our super festive Gingerbread House Making Class! This isn’t your average kit—we’re making everything from scratch! You’ll learn to bake the perfect gingerbread, mix up that magical royal icing, and create a masterpiece that smells and tastes divine. 🤩

👩‍🍳👨‍🎨 What You’ll Do:
Bake your own fresh gingerbread pieces!
Decorate like a pro with tons of candies and icing!
Take Home your incredible, edible creation! 🎁

Kids are absolutely welcome to join the fun! It’s a fantastic, hands-on activity for all ages.

🌟 Featured Local Produce: Asian Pears 🌟

Asian Pears: Known for their beautiful, round, apple-like shape, these pears are incredibly crisp, juicy, and have a unique, slightly grainy texture. They’re often called “apple pears”! 🍐
