Not your average headshot because I'm a bit wild and unruly... some might say a bit feral 🩶
You know, that phrase: "I'm Mostly Peace, Love, and Light, and a Little Go F**k Yourself." Those that know me, understand how well that phrase truly fits.
This actually wasn't a photo shoot, or headshot. I was having fun with right before performing a ceremony for the coolest couple. But it works, right??!

When people acknowledge and appreciate you for simply being yourself... that is the expression of love in its truest form.
This way of being seen and understood is vital to our health and existence in this challenging world; it is so often dismissed as a basic human need, overlooked, and unrecognized.
🔸 TAKE TIME TO REFLECT🔸
Take a few deep breaths and re-read what I shared above, letting the words sink in, and feel them. Now, as you read it (a 3rd time), be curious, and tune into what you feel in your body. Where the feeling is, is it uncomfortable, uneasy, light or warm, cold, or heavy? Does this feeling have a color, sound, use your senses and just notice. I suggest you write a few notes for yourself, either in the comments, an app on your phone, or a notebook.
🔸MAKE A CONNECTION🔸
Who do you love in this way?
Meaning you can see them as they are, (no expectations, no stories, no desires, only the brilliant light of their soul), look for the simplest parts, that they themself might not even see, or forget to recognize.
How can you share that with them?
It can be a simple message or text, a tag in a post that reminds you of their light, a post-it note on their desk, send a letter, or a phone call to remind them they are seen. Share something specific about what you see and adore.

LET'S TALK ABOUT IT
"Human nature is to f**k around and find out. What is unfortunate, is that some people have to f**k around longer to find out."
I was having a conversation with someone who inspires me, daily. We were discussing how most of the time we end up learning the hard way. We can give people advice, and tell them about our experiences and knowledge, hoping they will learn from us; but more often than not, we truly learn by experiencing rather than just hearing.
When sitting with this concept a bit longer, I realize that for myself, I learn by diving in (does anyone actually read the instructions??). As I have evolved, I see where I observe while taking in information and use emotion, logic, and EXPERIENCES to learn. So essentially, less FO&FO energy, and more taking in information, applying knowledge (already gained from experience) before fully aligning with what is before me.
Oh, and here is where I could make this post into a chapter fit for a book. But for now, let's just ponder a few questions.
1- How do you learn? Is your primary teacher experience or something else completely?
2- What happens if we are not allowed to f**k around and find out? Where do we get the experience to apply to the information we are given, before assimilating (learning)?
3- What knowledge, from FO&FO type of experiences, are you working with right now? (Because I believe this holds the key to how we relate to information that we are given)

IMBOLC AWAKENING
the wheel of life turns
we turn with it
gathering at the threshold of change
when winter begins to fade
take pause and listen
as spring begins to whisper
sacred guidance about growth
realize what was forgotten
as the sun shines
on the shadows of your soul
tend to the embers still burning
knowing it will be the light
that guides your awakening
This image has no obvious link to Imbolc. It is all encompassing. It is the whisper, the ember, the light. A moment of clarity that comes from a place unknown.

JennBrook’s journey started young, around 9 years old when her mother took her to a local rock shop that carried metaphysical supplies and crystals. Her love of crystals began that day. The same year she brought home her first Tarot Deck, and of course more crystals, that are all now an important part of daily life.
In the last few years (with a lot of shifting and transition) she has stepped into her true calling. Jenn is living authentically as a growing lightworker, healer and teacher, following her heart and dreams.
Jenn is a Usui, Holy Fire Reiki Master specializing in Intuitive Crystal Healing. She uses her clair senses: Clairvoyance, Claircognizance & Clairsentience, as well as other tools (crystals, essential oils, smudging, etc.) to give you a healing experience for your mind, body and spirit.
JennBrook says, “Love is one of the most important human experiences.” so of course she was drawn to offer additional services based on that. By becoming an Ordained Minister, specializing in non-denominational wedding services, she is blessed to be a part of many couples day of love, as their Officiant.
Jenn is a Sagittarius, so by nature she loves adventure. In her spare time she loves to go on road trips, often urging whomever is driving to take obscure dirt roads to who knows where. She is happily married for 15+ years to her Soulmate, they have 2 teenagers that share in their travels. Jenn also has a intense love for animals, she has volunteered with local animal rescues, and often will not turn away a stray.
Jenn says, “Sharing the knowledge I have gained over the years is very rewarding and fills my soul. I love being able to help people heal emotional trauma, gain clarity and evolve spiritually. The best part of what I do is seeing my clients become a better version of themselves through the work we do together!”
