I often feel a wave of melancholy after Easter. It’s so amazing to see so many people fasting, openly sharing their faith, and deepening their spiritual journeys leading up to Easter Sunday. Yet, once the Easter celebration concludes, the energy tends to diminish. I believe that Jesus was sent to serve as our guiding light, and to keep His teachings alive, we must aim to embody His principles consistently—not just during Easter. My aspiration is to develop strength, courage, and a heart like that of Jesus Christ—a heart that loves, forgives, and inspires, just as He did with such strength & humility.
His courage was evident throughout His life, especially as He bore His cross up Calvary, enduring beatings and public disgrace. It’s noteworthy that He didn’t carry His cross alone. Observing Simon of Cyrene assist Jesus with His burden was truly remarkable. We, too, are not meant to shoulder our crosses alone. Sometimes, we need someone to step in right when we need help. While I have faced challenges that required immense bravery, none compare to what Jesus experienced. I believe my strength is derived from the Lord, and through my faith in Him. If you find yourself in a moment of fear, unsure how to navigate your challenges, know that I am here to support you.
