Reality vs Social media expectations.

Both of these pictures were taken at the same time. Unfortunately too many of us out there worry about people’s judgement on social media. Therefore in order to feel accepted, praised and validated we tend to use the best lighting, we flex and try our hardest to take that perfect picture to post on social media.

Can I be shredded and have 2% body fat? Yes I can. Do I want to? Absolutely not. Why? Because it’s not sustainable. It’s not healthy and it’s definitely not how I want to live my life.

I always encourage my clients to look at the bigger picture when it comes to their fitness journey. Fitness helps you get strong, feel your best and It also adds longevity to your life.
