Due to the current weather and driving conditions Comfort and Joy will be closed Monday for the safety of our students and staff, following the local schools closure decisions. Everyone stay warm and safe.

Due to pending weather Comfort and Joy will follow Mid-Del Schools closure and be closed as well for the safety of our families and staff.

Weather Update – Remote Learning Day

Due to inclement weather, Friday, January 23, will be a REMOTE LEARNING DAY for all Mid-Del students.

Students should follow the remote learning schedule posted on their school’s website and watch for communication from their teachers regarding assignments and expectations.

Please note: Mid-Del Technology Center daytime classes are canceled for Friday, January 23.

Program Update for Our Families

Oklahoma DHS Child Care Licensing performed a routine unannounced inspection at Comfort and Joy Child Development Center yesterday, and we are pleased to announce that our program was found fully compliant in all aspects.

Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for your children remains our highest priority, and we are grateful for your ongoing trust in our program.

As the winter storm approaches and is anticipated to affect the Oklahoma City region, we would like to remind families that Comfort and Joy Child Development Center adheres to the closure decisions made by Mid‑Del Schools regarding weather-related incidents.

Please stay informed by monitoring local weather reports and announcements from the Mid‑Del School District regarding closures. Should Mid‑Del Schools decide to close due to the impending winter weather, Comfort and Joy will also be closed. The closure decisions by Mid-Del Schools are based on the condition of the local roads and neighborhoods. Since our center is located within a neighborhood, the roads leading to us will not be treated for the weather.

We will communicate any closure information promptly to families via Brightwheel and our page if and when a decision has been made.
