A big "thank you" to the Cedar Hills Elks Lodge #2678 from the team!

The Elks generously presented Mercy Health Foundation Jefferson with a $2,000 donation which will directly support Mercy Birthplace - Jefferson by providing essential equipment, materials and supplies needed to care for infants born with drug dependencies — both during their hospital stay and as they transition home with their families.

Great work by the Elks and everyone who supported their series of community-driven events, including their annual Battle of the Bands, two bike rides, local sponsorships, T-shirt sales and other fundraising activities.

Before she worked in Mercy Pediatrics, Pat Ameis was known for something special — delivering more than just meals.

She brought patients handmade signs with uplifting messages, always paired with a kind word and a smile. Those small moments left a big mark. People still remember the signs they got from Pat during their hardest days.

Now, she brings that same comfort to kids and families in our pediatric unit.

When you support the Mercy Health Foundation, you're helping caregivers like Pat bring hope in ways that go far beyond medicine.

January Senior Athletes of the Month

🥎 Weatherford High School's Marley Teasley
Marley’s dedication, work ethic and talent have set her apart as a truly dominant athlete. Her commitment goes beyond pitching—she excels defensively and is a powerhouse at the plate. First to arrive and last to leave, she embodies the drive it takes to succeed at the highest level.

This season, Marley pitched an incredible 137 innings, boasting a 26-1 win-loss record with 215 strikeouts and multiple no-hitters. Her offensive performance was just as remarkable, tallying 55 hits, 47 RBIs, 52 runs, and 23 home runs—tying for the most in the state.

A key player in the 2024 4A State Championship team, Marley earned numerous accolades, including All-District Player of the Year, All-Region Pitcher of the Year, Prep Nation Class 4A Humm Babe Player of the Year, and 2025 Oklahoma All-State Softball honoree.

As she continues her softball journey at Grand Canyon University, we celebrate all she has accomplished and can’t wait to see what’s next.

Congratulations to Marley, Mercy Senior Athlete and all of her hard work on and off of the field. We look forward to you achieving great things in the future! ✨
