THIS JUST IN: A RECORD number of Senior Marathoners are hitting the Oklahoma City streets this morning! 💪

These seniors have trained hard for this moment. Thank you all for reminding us anything is possible!

Also do at least 10 body weight squats (or sit to stands)
Or walk around for a minute or two. This is great for your blood sugar as well as your circulation and joints!

Stand up every hour.

Your body will thank you.

Sitting for long stretches slows circulation.

It tightens your hips.

It weakens your posture.

You don’t need a full workout every hour.

You need interruption.

Stand. Stretch. Walk for a minute.

Reset your spine. Reset your energy.

Small breaks protect long-term health.

Stand up. Your body is waiting.

Happy birthday to Dr. Cooper!
I got to hear him speak once a LONG time ago. He’s done so much in fitness! :)

Today we celebrate Dr. Kenneth H. Cooper’s 95th birthday. It also happens to be World Obesity Day, making this an especially meaningful moment to honor a true pioneer in preventive medicine.

For decades, Dr. Cooper has helped shape the global conversation around obesity by championing physical activity as a powerful tool for prevention. His research, leadership, and belief that movement is medicine have influenced public health policy, fitness education, and millions of lives worldwide.

At 95, his legacy continues to inspire healthier communities and a stronger future for generations to come. Happy Birthday, Dr. Cooper!
