Hap is a Therapy Dog that visits hospitals, shut-ins and those in need of his loving attention. He was rescued through Central OK Humane Society.

Hap’s legacy lives on in a wonderful puppy named Boon. At only 9 months, we’re just in training for Therapy Work.

I am sad to announce that Hap is now in heaven. His illness came quickly so his suffering was short. He was a surprising answer to a prayer and an exceptional dog. His Therapy Dog work was outstanding. I was blessed to be his person.

Such a Christmas blessing...This week Hap loved on 100+ kids at a very high-energy hospital party. He shook hands, high-fives, hugs and tricks for 3 hours while Jedi, Storm-troopers, Santa, Chewbaka and lots of costumed characters were in the mix. The only one all day he avoided was Darth Vadar. Apparently, he doesn't like the dark side.
Of course, the big platter of cookies got his nose's attention. But, he never stole a child's cookie even though they were within reach many times.

5 years ago today - Hap was adopted from Central Oklahoma Humane Society. He is certified by Therapy Dogs Inc and a hospital Dog Volunteer. We celebrate his 6th birthday today.
