Fresh herbal blends, handmade rug hookings, and a few earthy pottery finds are back in the shop.

This season feels like new growth (yes finally!) —slow, intentional, and rooted in simple things: plants, fiber, clay, and the kind of work you can feel in your hands.

Much has changed for me since I wrote the Advanced Home Herbalist course. I felt a strong need to revise my Home Herbalist Course with new eyes, and a new heart. I wanted to bring a newer version, a more healed version of myself to the course. I took the time to rework all 10 months, leaving much of the original goodness. I also made the decision to remove the Certificate portion of the course, so I could lower the price to $147 and make it more affordable for more people. I still offer my private Facebook group for sharing posts, questions and comments
I still have a passion for plants, and love natural healing. I really see plants in the WHOLE state as God's medicine. It is God's healing for the nations. The blood of Jesus covers us and renews us and saves, but while in these physical bodies, we need nourishment and care from the plants God created. This course is available in my ETSY shop (see link above). I will be letting it in the shop for the next 30 days at this price.
I have had many students take the course and through the work find themselves and skills for life.

🌼Had such a lovely time at Ridgewood Winery Daffodil Hill in Bechtelsville yesterday. The rain did not keep away the group of 10 that came to learn about tea, make pressed flower bookmarks and talk about all sorts of things. I love getting to know the people who attend my classes. I find them to be adventurous, and with many unique life experiences. They are not afraid to step out of their box.

🌼Message me for more information about hosting your own event, whether it be a tea party or artisnal craft; I will create something unique for you and yours.

Progress on this impressive 3 ft. By 3 ft. Heritage Rug Hooking. It has yet to find a home. I am taking requests and also specialty orders.
💫I am very pleased with the way the images are developing. I believe this rug will be a statement piece in an appropriately curated setting. It is also an heirloom piece that can be passed down. The materials used (ie wool and monks cloth will last for generations to come.) I would not expect to walk all over this rug. It is not meant for high traffic areas but to beautify a space.

I have adapted this rug hooking from a Pennsylvania Dutch style painting. You can see the barns and horse and buggy in the foreground. The sheep are my favorite detail. I am reminded of simpler, slower times- something many of us are craving.🐴

🧶Maybe you have your own picture or photograph of a homestead you would like turned into a heritage textile. Send me a message.

Thank you Oley Valley Community Library for having me today for Tea and Brunch! We had a wonderful time talking tea, herb gardens and sampling these delicous handmade treats. I was amazed at the ladies attending today. Women are so versatile, hard working and give so much to those they love. I think everyone could agree a little time for tea was just was what needed. No AI. No cellphones (besides my pics), just good old-fashioned connection.

My recently completed American Flag rendition- rug hooking. This year I have partnered up with Historic Rockford in Lancaster for a few events and demonstrations on Rug Hooking. This year is the 250th celebration of our country, and they have quite a number of events honoring the founding of our nation. I will be there for Family Day on June 7th! Stop by and see me (in costume!)

"Historic Rock Ford, featuring the circa 1794 General Edward Hand Mansion and the John J. Snyder, Jr. Gallery of Early Lancaster County Decorative Arts, is situated on thirty-three acres of gardens, woods and grounds surrounded by Lancaster County Central Park located in the southeast corner of Lancaster City. This remarkable estate offers visitors the opportunity to encounter the outstanding original late-Georgian style architecture of the Hand Mansion, to experience its rooms furnished in exquisite period style while, in the Snyder Gallery, to explore a nationally recognized collection of Lancaster County decorative arts dating from circa 1760 to 1820 including furniture, portraiture, long rifles, tall case clocks, silver, and much more.

In addition to viewing architecture and rare artifacts, visitors will learn about the diverse and complex life of 18th Century Lancaster. In guided tours of the Mansion, they will hear about Edward Hand’s early medical career followed by his distinguished service as Adjutant General to George Washington during the American Revolution as well as his business and political career during the years he resided at Rock Ford. Not only will they learn about the Hand family but, also, the tenants, servants, and laborers enslaved, indentured and free who lived and labored at Rock Ford. While exploring Rock Ford’s historic buildings, period kitchen garden and leafy paths, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a place that, while it has existed for over two centuries, continues to emit echoes in our contemporary world. We look forward to your visit."
