✨Simple Self-Care for Highly Sensitive Humans✨
I used to feel like I never had enough time for daily self-care...
But now, as the future self of this past version of me, I am calling BS.
I have more on my plate these days AND I also have daily nourishment integrated into my routine in a way that feels super easeful & enjoyable.
The truth is, it doesn't have to be overly complicated or take hours of your time.
In fact, the more simple the self-care practices are, the easier it will be to incorporate into your daily routine & stay consistent.
Here are 6 Simple Self-Care Practices (that are easy to do, yet still make a big impact when done consistently):
❋ White Light Meditation: How we start our day matters. This *free* 11min meditation/visualization will help protect your energy while anchoring you into the frequency of peace & gratitude so that your day flows with ease. Link in bio to download.
❋ Acupressure Mat: Lay on an acu mat for 5-10min and instantly feel muscular tension dissipate and your body feel more balanced & at ease. *Bonus points for habit-stacking this with another self-care practice like the White Light Meditation and/or breathwork*
❋ Stretching AM & PM: Stretching helps to keep your muscles loose, your blood circulating, and your energy flowing. It also supports good posture & balance. I like to stretch both morning & night but feel free to experiment and see what works best for you!
❋ Breathwork: Whether you desire to energize the body (ex. Breath or Fire) or to create deep nrvs. system relaxation (ex. 5-7-8 Breath), breathwork is a powerful tool for mood regulation & energy balance. Check out my reels for some breathwork tutorials.
❋ Blood Sugar Balanced Meals: As an HSP, what we eat makes a big impact on how we feel. Ensure every meal contains protein, healthy fat, and fiber to sustain optimal mood & energy levels, appetite patterns, and decrease fat storage.
❋ Self-Massage: I like to do this at the end of the day as I'm winding down for bed. Massage helps to soothe stress, promote good circulation, and release muscular tension. Try massaging your face, neck, shoulders, hands, and feet, and see what you like best!
