Education is not optional—it’s essential.

Preventable stillbirths can be reduced when families and providers have access to clear, evidence-based information.

At PUSH for Empowered Pregnancy, we believe education saves lives. That’s why we offer a stillbirth prevention course designed specifically for clinicians and care teams—grounded in research and focused on practical, life-saving strategies.

🤍 HELD Peer Support Group 🤍

If you are a mom carrying the loss of a child, you are deeply seen and not alone. HELD is a peer support group for bereaved mothers, created as a sacred, compassionate space to gather, grieve, and seek God’s presence together.

Starting February 26, we’ll walk through “Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy”, a book that invites honest lament and reminds us that God meets us tenderly in our sorrow.

I would be truly honored to sit with you, pray with you, and walk alongside you as we begin this first session.

📅 Begins Feb. 26, meets the last Tuesday of each month

On Maternal Health Awareness Day, we’re connecting the dots between the health of a mom and the health of her baby. There were more than 650 maternal deaths in 2023, and the CDC estimates that at least 80% of maternal deaths are preventable.

Research shows that women who experience stillbirth have significantly higher risks of severe maternal morbidity and mortality compared to women who experience live births. Research also shows that a change in a baby's movement can be the earliest and sometimes only sign there may be an issue in the pregnancy, reinforcing the importance of monitoring movements during the third trimester. A change in a baby's movements is an indication that both mom and baby should be evaluated by a healthcare provider right away.

The 20th is the last day for public comment to support PRAMS (Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System) data collection! Comment examples are in the comments. Thank you!

🚨URGENT ADVOCACY CALL TO ACTION!! 🚨
The CDC is seeking approval to extend the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) data collection, which currently expires March 31, 2026.

PRAMS collects state-specific, population-based data on maternal experiences before, during, and after pregnancy. A critical PRAMS supplement also gathers data from individuals who have experienced stillbirth. PRAMS is the ONLY national data source capturing experiences related to pregnancy and stillbirth.

💔 Why this matters:
PRAMS includes a vital stillbirth survey supplement that gives voice to families’ experiences. Without public support, this data collection could be at risk.

🗣 TAKE ACTION (2 minutes):
✔️ Public comments are OPEN
✔️ Specifically mention the importance of the stillbirth survey instrument
✔️ Personal experiences are powerful! Even a few sentences help

👉 Submit comments here: https://www.regulations.gov/document/CDC-2025-0750-0001

🗓 Deadline: January 20, 2026

Your voice can help protect this essential stillbirth resource. Please comment and share. Customizable example statements are available in the comments.
