This morning was filled with worship, prayer, remembrance, and the beauty of community. It was a true honor to listen to the stories of love, hope, and courage shared so openly.

Our prayer is that the time we spent together wrapped you in comfort and reminded you of something so important: you are deeply loved by Jesus and by this beautiful community of mamas who walk beside you. 💜

Today I spent the afternoon in a room full of people who care deeply about mamas and babies at a pregnancy and infant loss seminar resource fair hosted by Prairieland Birth Works and Grief Garden at CHI Health Bergan Mercy.

I was there sharing In the Arms of Jesus Comfort + Advocacy resources and representing Count the Kicks and Measure the Placenta and having important conversations about prevention, awareness, and walking with families through loss.

We connected with birth professionals including doulas, community health workers, mental health providers, the ones showing up in living rooms, delivery rooms, and the hardest moments.

I personally heard two Count the Kicks baby save stories today. One of them was also a mama save.

That’s why this matters.

There is something incredibly energizing about being in a maternal space like that surrounded by people who are passionate, compassionate, and committed to doing better for families. I left reminded that this work is heavy, but it is also hopeful.

Grateful to keep showing up. For the babies. For the mamas. Always. 💕

"Men don't talk, but it's okay to talk about baby loss and that's what we're trying to do."

Yesterday, dads Brett, Sean, Sam, Steven and Aaron were on This Morning, talking about their football club, Forget Me Knot FC. The club was created to bring together local dads affected by baby loss.

The dads spoke about their experiences of baby loss and how connecting with other dads has helped them feel less alone in their grief.

Thank you all for sharing so openly 🩷

We know it can be hard to navigate baby loss without the right support. And almost two thirds of partners who have been through baby loss told us they need help to open up.

That's why we created our Dads and Partners Hub, full of information, answers and stories from dads and partners. Find tailored support: https://bit.ly/3yOI5DZ

Inspired by the families of Eden and Anna, In The Arms Of Jesus Comfort + Advocacy is now including memory-making keepsake kits in all hospital comfort gifts.

These kits provide families with materials and inspiration to create hand and foot print art, giving parents the opportunity to parent, love, and create tangible memories with their child. As the years move forward, we hope to continue expanding memory-making opportunities within our kits.

This addition also reflects our mission to advocate for meaningful, parent-led memory-making opportunities within hospital settings, ensuring families are supported in creating memories with their child, not just receiving them afterward.

When Freya was born, we didn’t have the opportunity to fully participate in memory-making activities. That experience shaped my passion for ensuring families are included in creating these moments. Families deserve the chance to parent, love, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

The first of these kits will be delivered to Methodist Health System on Monday.
We are deeply grateful for our community for partnering together to bring comfort, dignity, and healing to families experiencing the unimaginable. Because of you, meaningful change is happening.

Stillbirth is the leading cause of death for children ages 0–14. Research shows about 25% of these deaths are preventable.

An evidence-based prevention program exists. It’s called Count the Kicks and it’s saving lives.

Education, early action, and access matter. Lives and families depend on it.
