I had the humbling privilege of sharing Freya’s birth story with a room of birth workers as they learn about bereavement care. I can’t share her story without also educating about stillbirth prevention.

It’s such a vulnerable experience. I find myself wondering: did I say the right words? Did I say too much? Will her short life move hearts to love, care, educate, and advocate more deeply for the families they serve?

I’m praying that God uses both my words and the heart behind them to help change the narrative, even if it’s just for one family. 🤍

Honored and grateful to share that I’ve officially completed my MoMMA's Voices training and am now a certified Patient Family Partner! 🩷🤰

This journey has deepened my calling to walk alongside families with compassion, to listen without judgment, and to advocate with strength and purpose.

Through this training, I’ve strengthened my focus on maternal health systems change and stillbirth prevention, working toward a future where every family is seen, heard, and better supported.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to grow in both advocacy and empathy, and I look forward to serving families in an even more meaningful way.
