 They call it “emotional leakage,” but in Laughastè, we call it a Somatic Breakthrough. 🕊️✨

The lessons behind the laugh is important to know as well... Like why should I Laughastè in how is it beneficial to my overall well-being.

Oowee let me Laughastè!! Social workers licensed clinical are known this is for social workers in totality!! LoL please watch til the end!

I personally have an incredibly insightful way to frame the profession of SW and LCSW. And Im providing this information with the hope that you adapt this perspective as well.

Viewing the intensity of social work as eustress (positive stress) is a powerful mindset shift it acknowledges that the pressure comes from a place of purpose and passion rather than just burden.

However, because eustress still taxes the nervous system, it can slide into distress or burnout if the “recovery” doesn’t match the “output.”…

So as a Certified Somatic Laughter Consultant, I address the “physiological debt” that social workers often accumulate. Because your work is so emotionally heavy, laughter serves as a critical biological tool to prevent secondary traumatic stress (STS) from turning into permanent burnout.

It's the conveience, the fluidity the versatility being able to Laughastè in the moment not just on the mat. 🧘🏿‍♀️💛🌱

Benefits of Laughastè in nature.

1. Enhanced Sensory Grounding:
Laughastè relies on multi-sensory engagement to increase nervous system capacity. Nature provides a rich, organic tapestry of stimuli the texture of grass, the scent of fresh air, and the varying temperatures of sunlight, that act as natural anchors.

2. Biophilic (Nature) Stress Reduction:

Oowee let me Laughastè and prepare my nervous system for a blissfully demanding 7 days ahead... And you already know I started with my Laughastè Spray...
Now time to flow into the Laughastè Asanas:

In the Tree of Joy, we don’t aim for perfect stillness We sway, We wiggle, We might even lose our balance but we never forget to giggle.

​This is my Sunday ritual:

1️⃣ Tree of Joy: Practicing presence in the bbecoming

2️⃣ The Brain Break: A quick "Very Good, Very Good, YAY!" to spike my reward chemicals.

3️⃣ Earth Hug: Connecting back to the source.

4️⃣ Laughing Child’s Pose: Total surrender.

​Prepare for your week by giving your body permission to feel light. If you can laugh through the sway, you can handle the week.
​Stay joyful, stay grounded.

Online Laughastè Yoga class starts in 30 minutes 8am pst... This is our last class until after Mother's Day.
