These Hands of Mine

These Hands of Mine A mantra for the hands, one stitch at a time. These Hands of Mine is a culmination of all that is me: knitting, healing, mindfulness and teaching.

It is my goal, my joy, to bring the healing art of knitting to all that need it. Research has shown that knitting can:
*Help reduce stress
*Improve fine motor skills
*Create new neural pathways
*Lower blood pressure
*Induce a meditative-like state and mindfulness
*Increase relaxation
*Create a sense of community and belonging

And although research is still being conducted, we believe it may also help with conditions such as pain management, depression, ADD/ADHD, addiction, PTSD, rehabilitation, living with chronic illness and so much more! Contact me to create a one-of-a-kind knitting program that specifically addresses your needs, whether therapeutic or just for fun!

As the weather begins to change, we can do more than just admire the beauty of the trees. 🍂🍁🍂We can learn from their incredible ability to remain rooted and pliable during moments of change.

Are you afraid of change? Most people are! That’s what our subconscious minds are programmed to do. But change doesn’t have to be scary. We can learn to embrace it with open arms.

In this guided meditation, I walk you through visualizing yourself remaining rooted and flexible in the chaos that might surround you. Open up to change, trust and let go. 🍁🍁🍁

I had written off making things for others, but this kid... every single thing I make for him is a joy to make. I smile through the whole thing, even if I make a mistake.

We’re gonna have so much fun as you get older and can help me pick out the various pieces to make things you love to wear and play in. 💖
