So many people tell me,
“I can’t practice at home. I need to be in a studio to really feel it.”
And I understand.
There is real power in community, in stepping out, in being held by shared energy.
But there’s another kind of magic too.
Home practice isn’t perfect.
It’s messy. Distracting. Real.
There are toys on the floor, dishes in the sink, life moving all around you.
And yet…
when you practice at home, your children see you.
They watch.
They absorb.
They mirror what matters to you.
Not because you told them to,
but because presence is felt, not taught.
Yoga doesn’t ask for a spotless room
or uninterrupted silence.
It meets you exactly where you are.
And sometimes,
that’s how a practice quietly becomes a way of life.
If this resonates, I shared more about the beauty and importance of home practice in my latest blog post.
And if you feel called to begin or deepen your own home practice, you’re invited to join Moon Dancer On Demand, a sanctuary of practices to meet you in every season.
