Movement gave me rhythm, accountability, and a place to come back to when everything felt unsteady.

I know now that when I stop moving, I lose my center. It’s easier to drift back toward habits that don’t serve me. Movement keeps me honest. It grounds me. It reminds me who I am beneath the noise.

I don’t move for aesthetics or performance.
I move to stay connected.
I move to stay alive.
I move to come home to myself — again and again.

Why do you move your body? I’d love to hear your why in the comments. 👇

Health starts in the kitchen.

The way we shop, cook, and gather around food teaches our kids so much more than what to eat. It shows them how to care for their bodies, how to listen to hunger and fullness, and how nourishment can be both loving and joyful.

It isn’t perfect — it’s messy, it takes patience — but hearing their laughter and watching them enjoy the process makes it all worth it.

Quick 2-minute reset you can do anywhere.

Gentle, yet surprisingly powerful — this practice can be done seated on the earth, propped on a cushion, or in a chair. Perfect anytime you need to pause, breathe, and come back to yourself.

It helps cleanse away stress and stagnation, open the side bodies and spine, and restore a sense of ease and clarity. Simple, grounding, and deeply effective.

ULTIMATE Egg Roll in a Bowl 🥢
All the flavor, none of the wrapper.

Crispy-tender veggies, a bold savory-spicy sauce, and eggs fried in chili-garlic oil doing the absolute most. This bowl is endlessly versatile. Use whatever veggies you have, add chicken, pork, beef, or tofu, and serve it over rice or noodles.

One skillet. Big flavor. Better than takeout.

Emerging Into the Light
A Spring Equinox Kundalini Fusion Sound Bath

Not rushing. Not forcing. Just emerging.

The Spring Equinox is a quiet turning point — when we move from holding to opening, from rest to readiness, from winter’s inward pull toward the returning light. This experience is an invitation to meet that shift with intention.

Through a blend of Kundalini, slow intuitive flow, and immersive sound, we’ll shed what’s heavy, soften the mind, and awaken the body’s natural vitality. Breath, movement, and sound work together to recalibrate your nervous system and make space for what’s ready to grow.

A ceremonial return to movement and presence.
Grounded. Open. Alive.

If you’re feeling the pull to begin again, this is your sign.

Four simple practices I return to every day to unlock vitality, clarity, and radiance.

Cat–Cow to wake up the spine and move stagnant energy.
Seated spinal twists to wring out what’s old and create space.
Radiance Charger (Breath of Fire) to ignite life force and inner fire.
Legs Up the Wall to reset the nervous system and restore balance.

Just three minutes each. Nothing complicated. Nothing forced.

Commit to this sequence as a 40-day sadhana and watch how quickly small, consistent rituals create powerful shifts — in your energy, your focus, and the way you show up in your life.

Simple. Steady. Transformative.

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with a Moondalini Cacao Ceremony, honoring the shift from the Snake into the bold, catalytic energy of the Fire Horse under the New Moon in Aquarius.

This special experience blends slow flow, grounded Kundalini, and yin to help you shed old skins, clear stagnation, and ignite fresh momentum. We’ll move with intention, breathe with purpose, and close in sacred cacao ceremony, anchoring heart-led intentions for the cycle ahead.

A ritual for release, renewal, and stepping forward with clarity and fire.

Some seasons aren’t about fixing or forcing — they’re about floating, listening, and letting yourself be carried.

This moment, this view, this breath… all reminders that healing doesn’t have to be hard. It can be gentle. It can move like water. It can return you to yourself slowly, patiently, and with grace.

If you’re in a season of remembering, let the waves hold you.

This morning I looked through old photos from high school and college. 2008-2016. My daughters didn’t even recognize me.

Everyone wants to bring those years back, but I don’t. I was lost, unhealthy, numbing everything I didn’t know how to feel. Those seasons are blurry for a reason.

Healing taught me this: the mountain is never fully climbed. We just learn how to walk it with more grace. Some days are still heavy, but accountability, discipline, yoga, and Ayurveda help keep me rooted and present.

Moon Dance is my safe place to soften, to grow, and to hold space for myself and for you.
You are never behind. You are never alone. And it’s never too late to choose yourself. If you need support, I gotchu.

Feeling like everyone around you is sneezing, coughing, or just… run down? You’re not alone

Sick season is officially here and it’s a reminder that wellness isn’t just about pushing through. It’s about warmth, nourishment, rest, and connection — inside the body and out. ✨

Here are a few simple Ayurvedic ways to support your immune system:
🌿 Warm broths & herbal teas
🧘‍♀️ Gentle yoga, yin, restorative & yoga nidra
🌬 Breathwork like Breath of Fire (even 1–2 min here and there counts!)
🧴 Warm oil massage (abhyanga)
👃 Tongue scraping + neti pot

These rituals help kindle your agni (digestive fire), clear stagnation, and soothe the nervous system — all of which are key to staying well.

Remember: consistency matters more than intensity. Tiny practices woven into your day can make a big difference ✨

So many people tell me,
“I can’t practice at home. I need to be in a studio to really feel it.”

And I understand.
There is real power in community, in stepping out, in being held by shared energy.

But there’s another kind of magic too.

Home practice isn’t perfect.
It’s messy. Distracting. Real.
There are toys on the floor, dishes in the sink, life moving all around you.

And yet…
when you practice at home, your children see you.
They watch.
They absorb.
They mirror what matters to you.

Not because you told them to,
but because presence is felt, not taught.

Yoga doesn’t ask for a spotless room
or uninterrupted silence.
It meets you exactly where you are.

And sometimes,
that’s how a practice quietly becomes a way of life.

If this resonates, I shared more about the beauty and importance of home practice in my latest blog post.
And if you feel called to begin or deepen your own home practice, you’re invited to join Moon Dancer On Demand, a sanctuary of practices to meet you in every season.
