Kristi and Maia Waszak were recognized during last night's Papillion City Council meeting by Fire Chief Robb Gottsch for their actions in helping to save a life!

On Dec. 31, they provided CPR to an HVAC technician who was working in their home. Their immediate recognition and response contributed to the technician having a pulse when Papillion Fire Department medics arrived on location.

Great job and thank you for your actions, Kristi and Maia! You are great examples of the difference community members can make when they are trained in first aid!
