What if one page could lighten your load?

When I remember those early struggles to sort out insurance, finances, the kids, and still work full time, it was so overwhelming. This isn't just a guide. It is the path I followed to find clarity and strength through organization. It's my gift to those who come after me.

One cancer diagnosis changed everything overnight.
It wasn't just Doug's cancer. It was OUR life turned upside down, as well as our children and extended families.

What helped me most? Real, practical steps that solved each small problem at at time. Organization skills as an administrative assistant helped me turn each hurdle into a list of things to do that I could take one at a time. It's what helped us, and I wanted to help others with those lessons. That's why I created this for every caregiver who needs a lifeline.

Feeling overwhelmed by paperwork and 'what now?' moments?

You're not alone. I struggled for a long time, with organizing what I could as my only lifeline. When I was feeling sorry for myself, I knew helping someone else would help me too. So I pulled together my notes, my lessons learned, and did my best to give you a guide that might help you on your journey.

Every page of 'My Spouse Has Cancer (Which means WE Have Cancer)' is filled with real-life tips and worksheets you can actually use.

With over a decade of caregiving experience, I never figured it all out, but what I learned was that organizing what I could gave me some control back. I want to help others dealing with a diagnosis with some of those practical issues. Check out the book on Amazon: https://a.co/d/0hx4WWX6

The overwhelm you're feeling? It's not weakness. It's evidence of how much you care. đź’™

You're carrying a lot right now. Medical appointments. Difficult conversations. Financial stress. The emotional weight of watching someone you love struggle. The constant low hum of anxiety in the background.

And on top of all that, there's this expectation—from society, from yourself—that you should just handle it. That you should be stronger. That self-care is a luxury you can't afford right now.

But here's what I learned from 10+ years of caregiving: self-care isn't a luxury. It's the difference between breaking and bending. Between giving up and showing up tomorrow.

When you take care of yourself—even in the smallest ways—you're not taking away from the person you're supporting. You're actually giving them more of you. A you that's less depleted. A you that can think more clearly. A you that has something left to give.

My workbook has tools to help you navigate the overwhelming parts of caregiving. But right now, in this moment, just know: what you're feeling is valid. And you deserve care too.

As a caregiver, you hold the lives of others in your hands. You're not doing it wrong. You're just doing a lot. đź’™

There's this voice that tells caregivers they should be doing more, handling it better, staying stronger. But here's the truth: you're already doing an incredible amount. You showed up today. That's enough.

Feeling insufficient doesn't mean you ARE insufficient. It means you care deeply about the person you're supporting, and that weight is real. The gap between what you want to do and what you can actually do is real. The exhaustion is real.

But so is your strength. So is your love. So is your effort.

When overwhelm hits, self-care isn't selfish—it's survival. It's how you remind yourself that you matter too. It's how you refuel so you can keep showing up.

Take a moment today. Just one. Breathe. Drink water. Step outside. Whatever you need.

You're doing better than you think. đź’™

What's one thing you're proud of doing this week, even if it's small?
