Unconditional love. It means to love someone without conditions. No requirements. No expectations. No limits. Just love in its purest form. It means having no agenda; casting aside our wants in favor of another's needs. It means loving them when it's hard, when they're at their highest or lowest, or somewhere in between. It involves accepting a person for exactly who they are. Unconditional love has nothing to do with ego or relationship dynamics. It transcends everything we've been taught to believe. It soars above everything we can rationalize with our minds or explain with our words. It's the type of love that knows no bounds. It's shared between parents and children, pets and humans, and sometimes, when the wind blows just right, it can even exist between best friends and star-crossed lovers. Strive to love without limits. Strive to love unconditionally. Seeing and honoring the divine spark in every human is the pinnacle of our human existence. Unconditional love is the sparkplug that gives us energy. If we could bottle it up, an ounce of it might just power the entire world for a millennium.
