✨Meet AmanaCare’s Human Resources & Recruitment Team!✨
These are the people making sure we hire well, onboard smoothly, and support our caregivers from day one. 💛
Jodi, our Director of HR, leads the team in all things hiring, policies, and people support. Based in Kearney, she’s often the go-to for questions about paychecks or Caribou Rewards. Caribou gives our caregivers bonuses, and we love it!
Eliot, our Senior Recruiter in Lincoln, has been with AmanaCare for a few years and frequently leads interviews, helping us find caregivers who align with our mission and values. He's a scholar, a father, and a great asset at AmanaCare.
Brenae also conducts interviews and represents AmanaCare at hiring events and recruitment fairs across the state. Being based in Kearney makes it easy for her to travel and connect with potential caregivers throughout Nebraska. She loves people and is super organized!
Nikky, our Onboarding Coordinator in Lincoln, ensures every caregiver’s paperwork is complete and compliant. She is incredibly detail-oriented and works hard to make sure new hires can begin providing care as quickly and smoothly as possible. She loves her spreadsheets, and we love her.
And Mayra, our Kearney receptionist, supports HR behind the scenes — helping keep everything organized and jumping in wherever the team needs assistance. She's a team-player with a great attitude.

We are honored to share that AmanaCare will be presenting at the Nebraska Hospice & Palliative Care Association Conference in Lincoln this April.

Heather Schanou and Mikah Christensen will be presenting “The Economics of Supportive Care,” a session focused on how collaboration between hospice providers and non-medical supportive care can improve patient outcomes, stabilize home environments, and reduce preventable crises between hospice visits.

This presentation will provide hospice professionals with practical tools and collaboration strategies to better support patients and families while also improving operational sustainability and coordination of care.

✨ Meet AmanaCare’s Care Coordination Team ✨

Our care coordinators are the bridge between caregivers, clients, and our office teams — and they are essential to what makes AmanaCare different. Spread across Nebraska, their days are full: talking with caregivers, visiting clients, leading meet-and-greets, onboarding new clients, training caregivers on their first shifts, and yes… lots and lots of documentation. 📋

Here’s a little about the amazing women who keep everything connected:

💛 BreeAnn oversees eastern Nebraska and grew up in Norfolk. She’s a proud mom of four and loves spending time outdoors with her family.

💛 Natalie serves central Nebraska, working out of Broken Bow and covering north of Custer County into Cherry and Holt counties. Her husband, daughter, and multiple pets keep her happily busy outside of work.

💛 Jentri covers Grand Island and Hastings. She’s a CNA with a true heart for helping others — and might love her pets just as much as she loves people. 😉

💛 Ashley lives in North Platte but supports nearly 20 counties in west-central Nebraska! She’s a sweet soul who always sees the good in others, is an incredible cook, and treasures her kids above all.

💛 Mattie serves the Panhandle. She holds a Master of Arts in Education and is currently pursuing another degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She’s also a devoted mom of two and deeply committed to supporting Nebraskans.

Many non-medical home care companies don’t have care coordinators — but we believe they’re vital. They are the steady touchpoint, the problem-solvers, the phone answerers, the travelers, and the relationship builders. They keep communication clear. They keep support strong. Born and raised in the Panhandle, Susanna knows western Nebraska like the back of her hand. Agriculture runs deep in her roots. She supports the dementia coalition, Veterans, and all things Nebraska — serving her own community with pride.

💙 Heather – Director of Sales & Marketing
Traveling statewide for presentations, conferences, and partnerships, Heather thrives on networking and relationship-building. She loves the Lord, believes deeply in legacy, and honors her parents’ memory through the work she does. Family and faith drive her mission.
