What Is a Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)?

A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) is a comprehensive, objective assessment used to determine an individual’s physical abilities and work readiness following an injury.

At Integrated Care, our FCEs are designed to support:
✔️ Safe and timely return-to-work decisions
✔️ Workers’ compensation and disability cases
✔️ Job-specific functional requirements
✔️ Clear documentation for employers, physicians, and case managers

Each evaluation measures strength, endurance, mobility, and functional performance compared to job demands—helping ensure employees return to work safely and appropriately.

📍 Conducted by trained clinicians
📋 Detailed, defensible reporting
🤝 Trusted by employers, insurers, and providers

If you need reliable functional testing to support return-to-work decisions, we’re here to help.

Q: Why did Santa get referred to physical therapy instead of surgery?
A: Because conservative care comes before elf-vasive procedures.

Santa knows the value of movement, recovery, and starting with Physical Therapy before jumping into surgery. 😉
