The highlighted quote is an excerpt from his "I Have A Dream" speech and, in the context of Grief Garden, speaks to the weight of grief we sometimes feel. May we take today to reflect on the knowledge that this weight isn't the only thing felt by grief, hope exists too.

Our resolution this year is to help more children walk through 2026 proudly carrying the memory of their loved ones with them and embracing their grief with compassion.

Grief Garden is welcoming two new team members this year!

Gloria will allow for service expansion via the already provided child life grief support and Makenzie is going to help our organization provide an additional layer of support for children, and their loved ones, who are struggling when grief enters their hearts.

2025 was such an exciting year for Grief Garden! We are honored to continue to connect and support grieving children in our community and are excited for all that 2026 is bringing our way!

Grief Garden is closed December 24th, 2025-January 2nd, 2026 to allow our team time to rest and connect with their families.

In cases of emergent need the best way to reach out to our organization is via email at griefgardenne@gmail.com. The email will be checked daily, but only emergent needs will be responded to.

Grief Garden provides funeral support to kids to help them with the ritual of end of life goodbyes. Our team provides three distinct services for funeral support.
1. Preparation, especially prior to an open casket viewing or to discuss cremation.
2. Sit With Me visits where a child life specialist attends services with your child to help them process and cope.
3. Post Processing visits where they get to navigate and explore what the event meant to them and things they experienced.

Even if our team hasn't worked with your child before, we are available to provide support at services.
