You are invited to submit an abstract to present at our annual GLACLP conference! This conference will be held IN-PERSON on Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, MI. We are looking for innovative ideas, creative projects, collaborative teamwork, and new research within your community. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and showcase your work!

🍬This year's theme: Sweet 16! (Celebrating 16 Years of GLACLP)

🗓️Abstracts are due by Friday, May 29th, 2026 at 5:00pm at the provided submission link below. We are eager to provide a rich conference for child life professionals, educators, students, and more! If you are interested in submitting an abstract, but have never submitted one before, please reach out to us with questions. A blind review process will take place after the deadline, and applicants will be notified of their abstract status soon after.

The Summer 2026 Student Experiences Scholarship Application deadline is coming up! The GLACLP is offering three student scholarship opportunities! Applications will close on March 18th, 2026, at 11:59pm EST.

(2) Internship Scholarships at $700/each, paid in two installments (before internship begins and halfway through with proof of success).

(1) Pre-Internship Scholarship at $250, paid in full before the start of the student experience.
