Scroll through Instagram for five minutes and it’s easy to think that every “fit” person starts their day with a smoothie bowl and an hour of meditation before moving onto a strength training workout and a 5k around their neighborhood.
If you’re trying to measure up to unrealistic standards, you’re setting yourself up for lots of disappointment.
If you’re struggling to do “enough,” pay attention to who’s influencing you and your ideas. From social media to friends and family who take it upon themselves to comment on your weight, there’s lots of toxic fitness culture out there.
