Physician Spotlight! Dr. Alexandrea Jager joined our practice on October 1st, 2025.

Dr. Jager grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University and received her medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, AL. After graduating from medical school, she initially matched into the Pensacola program for Obstetrics and Gynecology through the University of Florida in Pensacola, Florida. During this residency experience, she discovered her love for children and after 8 months started to pursue her career in the field of Pediatrics. Thankfully, there happened to be an opening located at the same hospital and she then completed her pediatric residency at the University of Florida Pensacola campus at Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart.

She is married to Jordan Jager, who is a real estate broker in Alabama. They currently have two sons, Elijah and Gabriel, and one daughter, Charlie. They live in Auburn, Alabama and are active members at the Church of the Highlands.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and playing tennis. She and her husband grew up as avid Auburn fans and are excited to take their boys to Auburn games as well as getting established in the wonderful community here.
