Tonight’s Yoga Nidra will be shifted from studio to online due to weather. Please join me TONIGHT, Thursday, Feb 23rd, 6pm (please note time shift for those who have been coming to the studio) for a 40 minute inner journey to restore and reset the nervous system, body, mind and spirit. This evening's practice will be offered by donation which can be made through Venmo or Paypal or other arrangements can be made by contacting me. Please DM me for zoom link. If you’ve never tried yoga Nidra you are welcome to reach out with your questions. To prepare for the practice;
This practice is done laying down. You can lay on the floor, couch or bed though you will want to be able to remain awake during the practice.
Use props for under the knees to support the low back (rolled up towel, small blanket or pillow), a pillow or blanket under the head &/or neck for comfort and a blanket to cover up with. Eye pillows are welcome too!
Make sure you're in a place where you will be undisturbed for about an hour.

Join me in February to restore and reset the body, mind and spirit through deeply relaxing I AM™ Yoga Nidra, Thursday evenings, 5:45pm at the Dolores River Collective, 411 Central Ave, Dolores.

This ancient practice of "yogic sleep" has been scientifically proven to support the ANS (autonomic nervous system), decrease stress, anxiety and depression, increase healthy sleep and support a healthy state of being for women during their monthly me**es and/or menopause.

No prior yoga or meditation experience necessary, this practice is available to anyone and AnyBody.

SOUND BATH: In celebration of the Month of Love I will be joined on Thursday, February 16th by Annette Kearl, Sound Healer and frequency facilitator extraordinaire, for a special offering adding a sound/vibrational 'bath' to the Nidra Experience. During this special practice we will root the intention of Love in our bodies with vibrational tones from singing bowls, flute, digeridoo, rain sticks, drums, gong and other light percussion instruments. Love yourself and your body enough to do this, for you, a friend or loved one and for the world. 💖✨🕉🙏

The mother/daughter relationship, it's a tough journey. I've been reading so much about generational trauma, patterns that get handed down that we most of the time don't even realize we are doing. Reading this as a mother and a motherless daughter raises a lot of interesting feelings in my system, especially now as my daughter sets her own compass to head out into the world. If you'd like, please share your thoughts as a mother or daughter or both. How has your mother/daughter relationship shaped you or hindered your growth?

"It's essential to embrace our fullest potential which can include stepping outside of our comfort zone, prioritizing action steps to put new creations into motion, and even entering the discomfort that comes from eliminating addictive habits or beginning a new healthy lifestyle. All the while, it's important to see how you are more likely to call forward your best effort and qualities when being nice to yourself -- with no negotiation surrounding the newly inspired choices you are ready to make.

While there will always be a part of you that finds comfort in complacency and overwhelm in the presence of change, the key is to encourage yourself in every step, and to be patient when results may vary, so you can support yourself in learning that positive change won't always be fast or easy but it's never as difficult as we believe it to be.

When we love ourselves too deeply to be stagnant and respect the divine too deeply to stand in the way of our next incredible milestone of expression, the beauty of tangible change is a gift to receive and never a punishment to endure. To find this truth and embody it fully, we must dare to love ourselves more, not less, no matter the time it takes to change, regardless how often we seem to miss the mark, and despite the kicking, screaming, begging and pleading that only needs more of your loving support to shift old patterns into new possibilities."
