It’s easy for some and for others it may not be. For me, I’m a social butterfly and ot definitely comes easy. I’m constantly connecting with individuals on a personal and professional level.

Planning ahead can be stressful at first but once you get into a routine, you’ll wish you had done it your whole life.

If your will was created more than 5 years ago, it's unlikely to have improved with age, and probably not reflective of your current circumstances.

Throughout the majority of the United States, wills do not expire, however, a good rule of thumb is to review your will every 3-5 years. A few situations that may result in an outdated will are:

✅ If your will was written before you had children. You will likely want to add them as a beneficiary, appoint a guardian, and choose who will serve as trustee for a created trust.

✅ Your current guardian could be ill, deceased or alternatively, there may have been a falling out with this person

✅ Your current executor or beneficiaries could be ill or deceased

✅ You may have found a new charity you love and want to bequest

✅ You recently received an inheritance or claimed bankruptcy

✅ Your health has deteriorated and wish to give away assets now

✅ You want to add or remove beneficiaries
